A little birdie told me that the Veldnaught, which everyone knows to be the primary producer of Veldspar in the entire Domain region, will be docking up for an entire week due to the short-sighted ambition of one corporation calling itself : CONCORD Preservation and Recovery
With the wardec against Chribba and the subsequent docking of the Veldnaught, can we expect Veldspar prices to soar?
Will Tritanium become so scarce that we have to result to foul means just to get our weekly fix?
These questions and more remain cloudy and unanswered in my mind, and there is a single culprit : CONCORD Preservation and Recovery
I am worried for my financial security in these dark times when we lack VELD FOR THE VELD GOD.
TL/DR: Chribba got a wardec, those guys are mean, let's fix 'em good.

Lol that should be fun. What is this concord you talk about? Even goons calculated how many ship they need to blowup Veldnaught and gave up before they even began. And im sure Cribba has more then enough friends to counter wardeck this Concord corporation to make them very very sorry they made that wardeck mistake in firstplace.

Lol that should be fun. What is this concord you talk about? Even goons calculated how many ship they need to blowup Veldnaught and gave up before they even began. Then they are stupid. That must be the assumption because Chribba cannot be stupid enough to undock with it during war.

The Veldnaught, itself, according to Evelopedia, can mine 295.3125m3 ore a minute. That's hardly enough, in itself, to make a huge dent in Veldspar or Trit prices. They'd have to war dec all of Chribba's alt's corps. How many are there again? :)
I'm sorry, I don't feel in a joking enough mood yet today.

As a highsec capital owner myself, you are absolutely, 100% correct.
GM Grimmi clarified some of the rules about highsec carriers about a year ago or so, and one of the cast iron rules is that if a wardec is impending, or you are actually under a wardec you may not under any circumstances undock in your capital ship. Failing to comply with this rule results in a 2-week ban and relocation of your capital to lowsec.

This thread has more effect of Veld prices then the absence of the Veldnaught
People see "OMG THE VELDNAUGHT IS PERMA-DOCKED!! Veld/Trit will go UP!!" and rush out and buy up trit and for veld which makes for increased demand..
Maybe that is the real motive behind the war dec, they have massive amount of veld in Amarr and they want to sell it for the best price... Oh wait a second I've given them WAYYYY too much credit for even coming up with that connection.
No, the others are right, War Decing something that can't undock in war time is stupidity, and just goes to show the intellectual difference between there and here. Hows that for Elitism?!?!!!!
