Hey everyone, back again for my second loan. These things are like heroine; but better! But no, seriously.. they are!
Summary
Size - 10 Billion ISK
Rate - 10%
Collateral - None
Start Date - When bond is filled.
End - 30 Days after start date. (Or if the goal is reached way before end date, will discuss with investors.)
Why?
Well, after the completion of my 1Bil loan (1bil for 30 days @ 10%) I quickly made my required 10% for payout, plus much more. After another day or so it dawned on me how much for of a profit I could make if I had a larger capital pull to buy from. So here I am, rep grinding my second loan.
Terms
This bond will start once the order has been filled. I will update the thread once it is done, so everyone knows start and stop dates. I would like the buy investments to be in at least 200 mil increments at a minimum. 10% intrest, and will be paid out 30 days prior to start date, or possibly before.
Risks
Scam - Always a risk when it comes to ISK, but not the case here.
Lack of Profit - Regardless of my profit, you will still get your investment back.
Quiting EVE - My account is subscribed for the next 6 months, so I'm not going anywhere. Also, I am in the Navy and my ship just entered the drydocks. So I have nothing better to do than play eve.
Hit by a train - On the bright side I have 400K life insurance, I'll make sure someone sends you some of it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q#1 - Why no collateral?
The only collateral I really have is some ISK tucked away from station trading. Which isn't any good in this sort of situation.
Q#2 - Why only 10%?
Well, for how quick I manage to reach my goal for the loan, plus the amount of ISK I hope to pocket I think that's a great ROI for how quick you usually get your investment back.

I am sorry but it just so happens that the connection between what one do IRL and how they act safe behind a internet avatar has little to none correlation.
Otherwise judging by the the general blood thirst we have in EVE the world would be a much harsher place.
Or eve has an unlikely high customer base with homicidal tendencies. 
You still have a lot of problems with your offering. If your last venture was so successful, get an audit from VV to confirm your success, especially when you want to ramp it up to 10 Bil?
If you want to mix in some kind of character traits from your real life, and have us trusting you on that. Then it is odd that you are so reluctant to disclose your main?
Also last time I checked you haven't even bother to get an confirmation on that your bond is closed successfully. Why?

Almost forgott.
MD isn't dead because people feel the need to warn others about dodgy investment, it probably has more to do that we have a need to warn people about dodgy investment!
Also if we look at the total amount of posting under EVE Gameplay Center, MD isn't falling that far behind the other channels. We have a bit of slack, but that's no wonder since MD maybe is a bit of a niche in EVE. Even if the effect can be big. |

2) An audit can't prove what the people here are concerned the most about: that you won't scam. It could only prove you have the trained skills to trade and show a record of trading stuff. So don't expect miracles from it.

Building up 'rep' doesn't prove you won't scam. In fact, when I see someone say they are building rep I ONLY think they are gonna scam. There has been way way too many characters in the past in MD who who offered investment opportunities, ran bond after bond, earned the trust of the MD community, then ran one last bond, scammed, and disappeared like a fart in the wind. It doesn't matter how many bonds you have ran, or how long you have been legit.... if you don't have collateral, you are a risk.
According to the forum posts for your last bond, you borrowed 1bil isk, with the intent of using that 1bil isk for 30 days. However, you only kept the money for 4 days (2012.06.16 to 2012.06.20) before paying off the bond. Now, 5 days later, you are running another bond? Why did you just not pay back the first bond until the full 30 days was up? (if your response to that question is "because i am grinding 'rep'" then refer to my previous paragraph) |

I will say that I was in fact paid my original investment plus 10% on the first bond, way ahead of schedule. I also want to reiterate that I am not an alt or anything like that. I bought this character because I spend most of my time working at a job where I can produce considerably more than I ever could in EvE and I enjoy the dynamics of the in game economy (not going to get any deeper than that here)
Honestly I made the investment without any sort of background for fun, I was hoping I would be surprised by humanity and I was. Also being from a military family I hoped that if there was even a grain of truth in his story, my ~$15 would be going to someone that I feel a kinship to (however loose it may be).
That being said, I would like a full api key to do my own audit and would recommend you allow a third party to do the same.
If everything looks good to me and whomever the other auditor is (should be someone who is respected in MD), I'm in for 3B.
I don't know if this is a scam or not, and as Vaerah said previously, even with an audit there is no guarantee it isn't. But if it is skrillex, I would hope you would cut me a break and still pay :) |
