What happened? Some kind of massive 0.0 war?
Tritanium prices are almost unchanged (2.78 or so).

It must be a massive insurance fraud construction operation. They artificially bolster mineral prices, which is why Pyerite had gone from 68.75% of its base price to 77.5% and why Tritanium hovers at 125% of its base price while Megacyte is closer to 33%. Of course it could just be production for Hulkageddon II.
See, since low value minerals have effectively unlimited supply and insurance fraud ops have essentially unlimited demand they break even but since the supply of high price minerals is much lower they tend to skyrocket must faster than low end ones when production rises. Oh, wait, that's not what's happening at all, is it?
My real guess is that someone came through with a single massive order to fill and bought out all the pyerite between 5.5 and 6.5 or so. A few hours passed and new deliveries started competing, driving the price back down. You came in somewhere during that. Depending on how fast it gets bought up the price may or may not go down further. Try your price history tool.
