So i just installed windows 7 (64bit version) this morning and now when i start eve i get the Dominion start up pic but no login screen, but the computer shows EVE running and a window icon in the taskbar but when i click on it nothing happens :( I was wondering if these 2 things are related, but more importantly does anyone has a work around??? Thank you in advanced to anyone who can help.

Press ALT + ENTER when it hits the taskbar. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

tried the ALT + ENTER trick and it didn't work and now every once in a while i am getting the "this program is not responding" and then it closes down. again anyone have any advice or should i just file a petition?? thanks again for any help. Spillrag

Sent out a petition which came back saying to clear the cache which i did, and still no luck. Any other ideas while i wait for a response from the petition about the cache trick not working?

I just did the same - upgraded to Win 7 64bit (as I've got 4G of RAM) and got the same problem.
To fix it you just have to install the old DirectX 9c files.
You can get them from Microsoft

try messing with the drivers from http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/159-19x-series-geforce-driver-releases/
It helped for me using the drivers from there and using the edited Inf file when installing that you can get on there aswell.
With me i was stuck when starting the game i got the dominion screen and then nothing would happen on 1 of my laptops with a 8400M but all works fine now.

If you copied your files from an earlier version of windows you might have to download and install it again. I had to do so when i tried windows 7. |
