Those of you in Amarr/Minmatar factions have probably noticed the arrival of a few new pirate corps since the Dominion expansion, Final Agony, Beyond Divinity, among others. I suspect it has something to do with both the change in 0.0 sovereignty mechanics, with subsequent political shifts, and the brief surge in Caldari during the assault on Metropolis.
But I donÆt know, honestly. Why did the pirates show up?
Not that IÆm complaining. The last few weeks have brought great battles against opponents more skilled and with more skill points than you generally find in either Amarr or Minmatar militia.
To that end, I put together a montage featuring encounters I had with the pirates in Amamake.

I have to lol at the pie gang with no point on their ships, yet still has a Rapier webbing you. Did you thank him for making your getaway easier? Note to self, do not approach Zealots in an interceptor solo, ever.

confirming beyond divinity are definitely in the amamake area and are one of the newest pirate corps in the game

We are there for the lulz, and asteroids in the first belt of Amamake seem to contain a rather good amount of lulz per m¦.

1) Why are you posting these in warfare and tactics, when they belong in my eve?
2) Why do you keep running from everything
3) why do you not speed up your footage, even people with actual interesting fights speed theirs up, watching a boring fight go slowly is even worse
4) music is terrible, turned it off within 10 seconds and put my own stuff on.
hyperion setup is suboptimal for ehp, and your harb fit sucks too

Quitting the Gal. Militia and joining F1NAL was probably one the smartest things I've done in EvE in a while. Lots of great fights and great gangmates. Gets a bit blobby at times but there's some quieter areas nearby for that  .
Surprised the hell outta me to see WOLFY not only show up, but still be on my side. No arguments though :)
As far as smack goes, it might be in your best interests to make sure your ECM ship is actually ECM fit before you try to break up an RR BS camp...

This was very seriously unimpressive... but thinking that popping zealot with harbinger then panic gtfoing while leaving your drones behind is worth showing to others is kinda cute.

Yes, the hyperion could have more EHP when fitted properly, but that would increase the cost I guess. Though I'd at least consider throwing a few t1 drones in the bay, these could be RR drones to prevent him showing up on killmails too.
Harbinger is certainly not a good fit at all, but then again all the Harbinger ever does is sit in station dockrange and warping to probed out targets. Sure a MWD could help actually catching stuff, but since it rarely has to move I'd say it does the trick. Works if it works, and if it doesnt you're down a Harbinger, who cares.

There is a mixed reaction in here, but it's all good. Some of the outlaws in the room seem a bit touchy. I didn't mean to say you were new corps, guys, just that you were new to the area.

I'm pretty sure that when you primary a target, you can still toss points on the secondary. It was an oversight that let me walk away. Don't feel bad; it happens. Seeing a big Hyperion on overview rattles cages.

The video isn't the main point of this post; my question about the pirate infestation is. The multimedia merely illustrates the point and simulates conversation (and sometimes salty tears).
And I run because I don't like losing my ships any more than the next guy. But seriously, are you going to give hate when a Harbinger without a prop. mod escapes from a hostile gang? It's not exactly a Vaga...

The outlaws in Amamake are good at what they do, there is no doubt. And the methods I've observed are refined from a fair amount of practice and trial/error. That said, I'd ask how many other single players like myself specifically and deliberately hunt your larger ships without any support and are *somewhat* successful? Perhaps after closer inspection some might see that my methods are also refined by much trial and error.

Heh, no reason to be aggravated, what I was trying to say is regardless of the fit being good or not (for general pvp), it works for what you are doing with it.
That was going in the direction of the people that scream "no MWD noob" right away rather than you

Meh, to each their own I guess. I think it is obvious that his fits are specifically designed for what he is doing. Whether other people agree that those are good specific fits for this specific job is a different, more opinion-heavy, question. If he were going for all around solo pvp setup, more lulz would be in order. Also, with BS prices the way they are right now, I am not surprised at all at the Hype use/fit. Yes more EHP from fancier plates/mods, but this ship probably costs a couple mil all said and done with that setup.

Sorry but I'd wipe the slate clean, change the setups, lose the top gun soundtrack or whatever it is, and start with absolutely nothing and go from there.
You may even need a pilot swap also to accomplish this.
