Edited by: carebear one on 04/01/2010 18:52:03 Hi,
how about a little side-event for the next hulk-ageddon from 7 to 14
Every carebear stops mining and prodding during this time. no ships or items in the market. Would be nice to see how long this hulk-ageddon will last due to this.

Yeah, because those involved in serious industry don't have massive loads of minerals and ships waiting to be sold. Those who mine in low and null sec, who are used to mining in dangerous conditions, also provide zero minerals to the market. Also, all of those people who run missions have no impact on the minerals market, too.
I would be willing to bet that if 10,000 miners and industrial types completely stopped for a week that nothing would change at all - except more money for those who continue to produce.
Wait. Have I been trolled?

Sorry cupcakes, but nature hates a vacuum. Everytime we kill a miner, another greedy dumbass takes his place either ignorant or uncaring of earlier events.
The ore you dont mine will be mined by someone else.

We actually spent the last week or two stockpiling extra minerals just so we don't have to mine during Hulkageddon.
Not saying some of us won't mine, but the bulk of us are going to try hunting sleepers during that time.
And yes, most likely, you have been trolled. --Vel

It would last forever. Good thing mission runners refine all their loot.
PVPers are smart enough to do industrial stuff like produce minerals and ships. Carebear miners aren't smart enough to PVP. You need us, we don't need you. -- Bellum Eternus Inveniam viam aut faciam.

We all need each other I'm afraid. Sounds very hippielike but the diversity of gameplay options drawing different crowds in this game is what keeps it interesting. I don't know a single mmorpg that caters as much for completely different groups like EVE does. Please re-size your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |
