Hey! this is my first auction!
I have an Archon BPO that I thought could be put to better use seeing as I can't manufacture it.
Ticket prices are: 5,000,000 - 1 ticket 25,000,000 - 5 tickets 50,000,000 - 10 tickets 500,000,000 - 100 tickets
I will use random.org's true random number generator to pick the winner
The winner will receive a contract from me with the BPO. The contract will be made in Jita, so that is where you will need to pick it up.
I will sell a total of 5,000 tickets. Once all 5,000 are sold, I will use the random number generator to pick the winner.
Send ISK to Thunderblasts with the reason Lotto - x (x being number of tickets you wish to purchase).
If anyone has any questions, feel free to post!

ME? PE? 5000 tickets at 5m? 25B total? No third party for your first auction?
I'll take those odds, buy all 5000 tickets. (Hope no one beats me once server comes back)

Your BPO has a max. worth of 2 Bil Isk, means: 2 000 000 000/5 000 000 a ticket: 400 tickets
5000 tickets (25B as said above) is nonsense!
For a successful lottery you should do math first, choose a clear drawing system and think about a 3rd party, because much lotterys are not more than scams these days. |

Hey there, some suggestions if you are serious about your event. (Pretty much everything Gimme Allyourgold said )
Using a secure drawing method for your customers would be a good idea. Rolling a number with www.random.org is not enough as theres no way to verify which roll was your own, you can just keep rolling until you get a number you like and then take a screenshot.
I would suggest using www.invisablecastle.com, it has 3rd party security (for free) and your customers can see every roll you make with a time stamp and its completely transparent, if you use it right there is no way someone can scam with this site. Just make sure you post your username before you make the draw and tell your customers when you are going to draw so they can watch.
Getting a third party to either hold the BPO and even better, to hold the prize and to draw the winning numbers would go along way towards getting some trust from players.

Pretty much what he said.
Invisible castle is great for drawing lotteries, and getting a third party is even better.
Try Chribba, Darkness or F90OEX for the most trusted.
