Im gonna start doing some mission and I need a good all around ship for it. I was thinking about fiting a Domi with some agro weapon and then salvagers and tractor beams and let the drones do the fighting. Is this a viable mission fit and is it possible to still use it on level 2-3 missions?
If I go for a smaller ship I will have to use a combat ship and then a salvager and thats to much hassle.

Just go straight for a Kronos as that will allow you to salvage as you go, or cross-train for one of the other Marauders. 
Seriously though, frigates are good enough for most L1 missions, destroyers / cruisers for L2s and BCs for L3s. Domi is the AFK mission king for L4s. And fitting a Catalyst as a dedicated salvager is a good idea even if it seems like a lot of hassle.

The thing is that I have a Domi that I havent used in a while. So I thought I could do salvaging with it aswell as combat.

Well the other problem is that the gates on lower level missions won't let in anything much bigger than a cruiser/BC so you won't even be able to get into them in your dusted off Domi.

Kronos is bad. Domi is good.
That said, kronos can salvage as it goes, which the domi realisticly can not, without crippling the ship horribly. And even then it'll be rather poor at it.
As for lower level missions domi really isn't bad. It won't be as fast as a hac,af or similiar and there is the rare occasion of gates not letting you through. However personally that has never been an issue for me, the few missions that do that generally have other reasons to decline them such as being versus another faction.

Since Hybrid damage is generally crap dmg/range wise... go fot them droneboats.
Domi being probably one of the most cost-efficient mission runners.
Kronos is about the only ship that can do anything at all using rails in missions, but I doubt it'll outperform a well fit/skilled sentry domi.

lvl 1-2 : ishkur
lvl 3: myrm/ishtar/domi/ishkur
lvl 4: domi/kronos/ishtar/ishkur
should be fine. Ishkur is funny but can be a bit tricky in lvl 3-4, ishtar is nice since it fits through quite a few warp gates i reckon. Using a domi in lvl 2 is just annoying

Why would you want to salvage lower level missions? When there are no BS wrecks, salvaging is just a huge waste of time better spent doing the next mission so you can get to lvl4s faster...
And if you are reading this, you have arrived at the signature without noticing...

I don't think Ishkur is very good option for lvl 4's. Can it even brake some/most of lvl 4 BS's tank? Anyway, I think it's too risky and much too slow. For lvl 3's it's really fun. Otherwise what Keitaro said.
Domi is the easy and efficient way to go. Use a separate salvager ship like Trasher, Catalyst or Hurricane.

I had used a sentry rigged, BS-V, etc Domi for a long time. It easily out performed Megas and Navy Megas.
I now use a Kronos and it is far more efficient. I have even stopped salvaging as it does the missions so quickly salvaging would reduce my income.
Search and you will find the good fits, mainly don't think of fitting the mid slots like a Mega and you will see the difference.
