And now we see the true colors of the BoB blob ... when their war against PA stalls out, and they become bored of attacking CA, FA, and anyone (everyone) else, they choose to declare war on Fade Union, not too long after Black Nova Corp (BNC) and Reikoku (RKK) had demanded access to Fade space for purposes of stripmining, NPCing, and the like. They even offered (as if we believed them, and history now shows our suspicions to be correct) to help defend us from our enemies ... did they think we were blind to the fact BoB constitutes the greatest threat to peace and security in the cluster?
There will always be wars, and there will always be conflict, but there isn't always honesty, and BoB has shown they are completely incapable of maintaining the two. They are just another blob of locusts. While I am sure they will have their share of successes against us, I am equally sure they will find we are not the soft FU of days past, and are prepared to defend the northern territories from their lawless advance. I hope our friends and allies in the NSA and NORAD, and any other alliances who wish to throw off the yoke of their piracy and tyranny would stand firm with us. The enemy of our enemy is our friend, and we will remember it.

I have been talking at length with lots of folks from the old FU, and have come to the conclusion that my opinions, which I have left above because I am not ashamed of them and do not want to be accused of hiding from them, were not necessarily correct. There is a post by an Evolution guy towards the 3rd page of this thread that is pretty much on target and flameless. At any rate - the current FU is experiencing a time of massive change and we are all waiting to see what will happen when the storm is over.

A lot of the current tensions were created by Fade Union conveniently forgetting their own history, heritage and obligations.

Official posts on behalf of the Fade Union are to be done by elected representatives only. The post by Skogul was not sanctioned by the Fade Union Council and should be viewed as his own personal opinion.
Skogul, please refrain from posting in official Alliance forums. We have a code of conduct we expect our members to adhere to, please familiarize yourself with it.

I'd just like to see better excuses from Evolution next time please. A fine backstabbing deserves a fine PR campaign, too. Or none at all. ;-)

I remember the RSA too and I remember the fights. I also remember the terms Fade Union agreed to as part of the agreement to end hostilities.
The mining and npc rights where part of that agreement. Not something we just decided to demand later. I can also inform you that Reikoku never really used the mining rights, but we did use the NPC rights. I am sure Phonix can attest to that, or Taz911.
So before you spout bile on the forums I suggest you get your history straight, it makes you look less stupid.
