I never heard of any alliance claiming that region, but some corps seem to patrol there to make it abit secure.
Who is defending that region and who is KOS for all there?

PB is a free-for-all atm.
To my knowledge, no alliance claims it, but you will find EV, Millennium, some Fade corps, RKK, Evol, plus DIE, Nemesis, ATUK, m0o, Jokers and a whole bunch of other grizzly pirates.
It's a fun place to lose ships and money... but not too good for making up for losses

PB is a free-for-all atm.
To my knowledge, no alliance claims it, but you will find EV, Millennium, some Fade corps, RKK, Evol, plus DIE, Nemesis, ATUK, m0o, Jokers and a whole bunch of other grizzly pirates.
It's a fun place to lose ships and money... but not too good for making up for losses

FU/NSA have agreed to keep PB open and are fighting pirates there!

All the surrouding Allainces that are not in a state of war (PA BOB) that use it for access to there space patroll it. How efectively not shure although everytime ive been through ec-p8r it seems to be nemisis/KROM/DIE/ASS ( pirates thought nemisis claim not to be).
Jericho Fraction reside in x-7omu but dont beleieve they patrol it unless its the 5zx area where theres a NPC station with factories ect.
Main acess points from Empire is torrinos> ec-p8r, saranen to 93pi or something ( few jumps out of ewok).
Main alliance acces points from pureblind to there space ROIR> fade then to deklien.
UMI-KK ( rearly tribute but has always been used as access to venal).
7d-d at the back end of pureblind leading to cloud ring ( NORAD space?) although heard its controlled by nemisis and other loocals like steel vipers but could be wrong.
Ore is crap except for ec-p8r containing crokite and heard 93pi or a system close contains dark ochre.

ROFL. Letting your enemies control EC-P8R for 4 hours and only bringing in your 30 ship fleet when only 5 frigates are left does not count as keeping Pure Blind open. And with Evol setting FU/NSA as hostile its going to be even more of a war zone.

No way u can make pb 'controlled space' unless your willing to fight 5 alliances or so

yeah its pretty much required that pure blind be left free as it is a major travel route for several alliances. So if one comes in and claims it, no matter how good the relations it will come under attack by everyone and most likly even if it were an open space alliance (as there is the risk they have problems with one of the alliances and closes it to them)

I don't think any Pure Blind-based corporation patrols it. As a highway between empire space and the outer regions, it's used a lot by various outer region alliances, who do patrol it on and off. As far as the PB residents go, rather than patrolling it, we all just kill our enemies there. The trick is that we don't all have common enemies, so there really isn't anyone who's KOS to everyone there, likewise I don't think there is anyone who isn't KOS to someone there...
A good way to think of the region is akin to the carribean during the 17th century. There isn't a sole power, there are a lot of buccaneers running around, and things can be chaotic. It's a fun place to be, though.
