exactly the idea was to couple the claymore and the prober ship which the wh expedition will need anyways

i'm not completely sure, but i have a feeling that a rapier with 3 overheated fed navy webs (+skirmish bonuses) will be able to slow down and eventually catch this train

so tell me again why are you all fitting cloaking devices?? these are supposed to be un-probable ships, in some random location in space, i fail to see the need for cloaking.

Edited by: Contralto on 11/01/2010 06:09:58 There are times when you want to monitor the Wh or sit at a location where you would be visible. The Claymore can fit sufficient warfare links and still have room for a launcher and a cloak so no reason not to fit one.
In practice I use a Loki with the Covops and interdiction Nullifier subs so I use the Covops cloak. Only 4 active plus one inactive warfare links.

The contest is now closed (since yesterday) but I will need a couple of days to decide how to allocate the prizes. Check back on this thread later to see the result.

cool thread, I'm not here for the contest. I just want to share my EFT warrior skills with you without spamming forums :) My fit with low-grade Jackal, because you will not get HG on market atm, Standard X-Instinct and Skirmish Mindlink:

Best for nano gang (imo) with sig/scan str = 165/154 = 1,071428571428571 ~ 1,07 < 1,08
You can add Alchemist WA-2 implant to longer the combat booster effect. Play Hard. Go Pro. |

I enjoyed this contest very much, and learned a lot. Thank you all who took the time to participate.
I have now acquired a HG Jackal set and will be testing out some of these loadouts soon. The Jackal implants are available as LP rewards from the Tribal Liberation Front. Send me a mail if you need help finding someone who can supply them.

Cool Ist time I win anything and I score 2 prizes :) Thanks
Not sure what the benefits of the Mwd are? as soon as you use it your sig will be the size of a Dread :) seems a shame to lose that 6th bonus.
I guess burning out of a bubble could be useful but my guess you will be dead by the time you escape considering the complete lack of tank. Also Scouting the hole Ist would be a good plan so bubbles are not an issue.
5 links (4 active)on a Covert/probe/warfare link/interdiction nullifier Loki would be a better choice in that case, no drugs or implants required.

Yeah... it could be debated. I won't go into that because it mostly comes down to preference. Anyway, Liang Nuren's fit was the one I found most all-round usable, but yes there are many situations where a 6-link claymore would be more useful.
Too bad it won't work with 7 links. I think there was like 2 units of CPU missing for that, even when using the best officer co-procs (which are surprisingly cheap).
The Loki also looks like a nice ship but personally my training schedule doesn't allow for T3 just yet.

thanks for the contest! it's not a shame losing to liang, his EFT warrior skills are mighty =]
anyway, to redeem myself of the MRAR, it's main use is for after-combat repping of armorbuffer tanks and not per se during the fight itself ------------------------------------------ Yes I know how my face looks like :D |

You might be able to scan it, but by god try to catch it and hold it!
Oh and yes its cap stable
WildCat
how are you fitting everything ? With all skills to 5 you won't be able to fit everything.
only if you replace one TS PDU with a TS RCU and a aux thruster with an ancillary current router II, also the top speed I get in eft is 5643m/s with implants
