Hi,
I am in need of a list of missions by region. This can come from some authoritative source (if you know where one might be - that would be great), or it can come from personal experience. The frequency of said mission would also be truly fantastic. The reason that I need this is so that I can run some calculations on what the "best" mission runners are by region. If you want to chime in what ship you fly and your min/average mission time that'd also be very helpful.
I already have the Sinq Laison list, but I haven't been keeping track of mission frequency. Maybe I should throw together a website to keep track of it - maybe set a cookie for region and you can just click the mission you got... and it throws you through to eve-survival for that mission? Not sure - I don't want to hurt their ad traffic if they have any.

The mission pool is influenced significantly by the race of the agent, I've found. I run both a gallente and amarr agent two jump away from eachother in gallente space and they give wildly different sets of missions. Even the same missions tend to be against different factions depending on the agent (like intercept the saboteurs and the assault). If you want to be precise you'll probably want to take that into account. Unfortunately I haven't been running too much lately so there's not much in my standings transactions to share...
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started.

I have 10 agents I work for, and I noticed they are giving me a slightly different mix of missions since dominion. I'm getting Recon frequently when before dominion I never got recon once. I've also noticed an increase in courier missions.
Just so you know that even if you do compile a database of missions for every agent, it will be outdated in 6 months to a year.

Hmmm..... yeah, I wasn't planning on using it so much as a resource but as a measuring stick. But you're probably right - not worth the time and effort. Thanks anyway :)
Anyway, for the curious, here's the list I've been working up for Caldari agents in Sinq Laison: - World's Collide - Recon - Angel Extravaganza - Infiltrated Outposts - Damsel in Distress - Stop the Thief - Rogue Slave Trader - Duo of Death, Guristas - Duo of Death, Serpentis - Shipyard Theft - Cargo Delivery - Wildcat Strike - Right Hand Of Zazzmatazz - Serpentis Spies - Blockade, Serpentis - The Score, Sansha - Silence the Informant - Intercept the Saboteurs, Guristas - Gone Berserk - Vengeance, Serpentis - Smuggler Interception, Blood Raider - Assault, Guristas - Unauthorized Military Presence - Massive Attack, Sansha

Not really practical until you can export the "Show Transactions" list for the agent into a text/csv file. Probably easy enough for CCP to implement, but the justifaction might be a little harder to come up with imo. Your proposal's a little too clunky for old timers who don't refer to eve-survival anymore, at least until they encounter something new.
I'd have to agree, it's a pointless waste of time. Even if you get down to the results of the analyses, best you could get out of it is probably the general pattern ala CCP's QEN. Good for reading digestion and knowledge, but ultimately useless in a practical sense imo, to the general audience. |

Of course it was - it was never intended to be needed for anything more than that. I wasn't trying to build a guide - but to guide a bit of research I'm looking into.

The missions for a given agent will not be influenced just by where it is. More influence will come from race of agent and type of agent, also possibly corporation agent belongs to.

If I recall standings w/the agent influences mission pools.
Anecdotally, I found in the past for some agents the ship I was in and it's resistance % seemed to influence faction I missioned against.
For example, if in a badger when mission was requested I tended to get courrier more often. If in bs with em/therm resists tended to get blood/sansha (w/caldari agent), omni drones (rare occasion angels), and kin/therm guris (rare occasions serp). I haven't messed around w/that for awhile and only seemed to fairly consistantly work on 1 of the couple of agents I tried that with. I used a dom in all cases just changed plates is all. |

Standings w/agent, I believe, influences, not the mission pool you get, but the frequency of getting missions with the larger bonuses.

Yeah, I could've worded that better.
I'd meant the freq./availability of certain missions within an Agent's pool is partially determined by standings as I recall.
