1) Is it bounties, loot, salvage, lp points?
2) Should i salvage everything or just large wrecks to save time?
3) are there any skills i should train to maximize profit from missions?
4) With LP points... what i basically do is buy something (implants in my case) and put them back up on the market, usually netting a 4 mill profit. Is this the way to use LP wisely or am i doing it wrong?

From most to least: LPs Loot+salvage (though this varies) Bounties
Quote: 2) Should i salvage everything or just large wrecks to save time?
That depends. Dedicated salvager? Get it all. Just salvaging on the go? Get what you can of the big wrecks, ignore the rest.

Connections, connections, connections. Get all your connections skills to at least 4 for the division you're working for (and the base connection skill raises agent payout).

You got the right idea. Check the market where you want to sell, and compare the prices of the LP items you have access to if you want to find out what's best for you to sell.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started.

I do just missions against bountie enemy like serpentis. I just loot items from BS during fight then i just warp out and start over with another mission. I dont do missions against drones.
you know all valuable items are in BS wrecks. Changing ship, warping and salvaging is waste of time. you can almost complete another mission in that time :)

If you don't sell your LP at least 1k ISK = 1 LP, you are doing it wrong ...

1) Is it bounties, loot, salvage, lp points? I don't loot or salvage, so it is bounties and LP points.
2) Should i salvage everything or just large wrecks to save time? I don't loot or salavge, I just return to the agent.
3) are there any skills i should train to maximize profit from missions? Missile skills.
4) With LP points... what i basically do is buy something (implants in my case) and put them back up on the market, usually netting a 4 mill profit. Is this the way to use LP wisely or am i doing it wrong? It is what most do.

like most people have said LP is the big winner here i come back with a dedicated salvage ship IF there are lots of battleship wrecks otherwise i just pick up the good loot from the wreck i can get to.
bounties can be 5-7X the amount of isk than completing the mission
and making your own LP/isk conversion chart in excel is pretty easy, and there are some products that will defiantly surprise you in what nets you the best isk/lp

When selling things, if you aren't just trying to do it quick and dirty, besure to check around. Either look yourself or get price checks from different regions. Prices can change dramatically from region to region.
For instance I got an implant as a mission reward that was worth 70mil in my home region but worth 150mil a couple regions over.

If you can complete another mission faster than you can salvage the one you just did, dont salvage (with exceptions mentioned below)
If your new to level 4s, and it takes you a while to complete them, then definately salvage. It IS good money, you just eventually reach a point where not doing it is usually better.
Exceptions; i always loot (not salvage, just loot) gone berserk and damsel in distress. The enemies die in a nice ball, and every wreck has loot; 20m+ each time for the 5-10 minutes it takes me to loot 'em.
For me, its bounties, LPs (im working on this) then loot. Space is fun! |

Also, if you do melt down any of your loot, the skill Scrap Metal Processing will maximize the return on that.

I've so far only seen less then 1k isk = lp in the gallente fed navy LP store. Would you say it's moreso in the more expensive items of a LP store or is it the cheaper ones?

Use the market/search contracts yourself mate and do the math it's fairly simple to figure it out.

You alwo want to look at the price history, to see how much volume is traded. You may find and awesome item that nets you 5k isk per lp, but if only one sells per week and the market is competatitive, you may want to find a different item. You also want to check for prices stability/fluctuating, and if they are fluctuating are they at a good time to buy, or a good time to sell.
