So what does everyone think of the idea of CCP letting people pay with real life money to use it towards training a skill instantly? I'm sure this idea has been proposed before but I was just wondering what the pro's and con's of this would be.

YaY! Let's make EvE like all those f**ked up P2P MMo's and let every last drop of balance to flow out of EvE.

Would it have been SO hard to give this thread a name that relates to its content?

My 14 year old son is like the OP. And probably the same age as well.
The first thing he does when he gets a game is go online to look for the cheat codes. Much like OP wants to buy skills.
Why people don't want to simply enjoy a game the way it was designed to be played is beyond me. Just don't play it if you don't like the way it is set up. Find something else to play where god mode is a part of the package.
Eve training was made the way it is for a reason. If you don't like it, well...

I think it best you not think anymore :)
Its a bad idea favouring the ones with more RL money making teh game dull and enevtually unrewarding if everyone can not have equal opportunities.
I think its bad enough with plexes, but that at least is rthere to counter isk slelers to some degree, toh I am sure CCP gets good extra money from it as well.
Pros: None Cons: Dull game, unblanaced game, no sesne of time wrt getting rewarded for long gameplay, instant gratification makes for short lived games and players, EVE will die. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is one of my pet peeves--thread titles like "I have a question..." or "I had a thought..." or "What if...". I normally don't even click threads unless I can tell what they're about from the subject.
Instead of telling us you have a question or a thought, just put the damn question or thought so we don't have to click it to find out that it's dumb like this one.
