This is a major blessing and honestly I can't wait until this is released. Good job. Except this minor thing, if the blog post regarding these changes is representative of the consistency and quality of the update, I'm deeply worried. For example, take this picture: http://i.imgur.com/0WEDL.png (how does one embed pictures in this forum?) You can clearly see the fonts differ. This is the first instance it happened in that blog post, it get progressively worse. To be honest, I don't see how this gets through proof-reading, but I'm sure you have an explanation. Some security reason of having images over ssl that may contain malicious code that your browser will execute without thought. So embedding of images has been removed so that this isn't a concern anymore. WSpace; Best space.

The font update however, while a good idea, doesn't seem to appear as nice as the old font. Maybe it is because the font is still a WIP but the edges seem all jagged and low resolution. Have no problem with taking all the capital letters out of the menu's though. ISN'T IT SO ANNOYING TO SEE CAPITALS ALL THE TIME. Also I am not sure if you used the same size font in the two pictures of the menu because the new font appears to be a larger size than the old, maybe that is what's making it look weird. Either way thanks for all the blogs and updates, keep up the good work.

On my 1920x1080 screen, I'd like the UI text to be as big as it is at 1024x768, without making the rest of the UI elements (icons, avatar thumbnails, other graphics) any larger. After getting my new LCD monitor (used to have a CRT), EVE was the ONLY program (game or productivity) that just didn't feel comfortable. Other games use fonts that are readable even at high resolutions (or are larger to begin with), and productivity apps allow for any font size I cared to set in Windows. Only EVE insists on using a tiny, ugly, unscalable font that isn't very readable in the first place. So I practically jumped for joy to hear that a new READABLE font will be applied soon. Maybe now I'll be able to play EVE for more than an hour at a stretch. All we need now is UI-wide font scaling and I'll be much happier.

Morganta Peripheral Madness The Midget Mafia 39	Posted - 2011.09.20 22:47:00 - [19] - Quote sometimes it needs to be repeated always set your desktop(videocard) resolution at the NATIVE resolution of your monitor go dig up the manual if you don't know what it is your game settings should always be set to the desktop resolution I run a pair of 1440x900 displays (19' diag viewable) 1440x900 is a 16:10 aspect ratio (so if i watch 720p [1200x720] video there will be bars on all sides) my card supports this aspect and resolution so i run the adapter at 2880x900 eve in turn is run at the same resolution in full screen mode so I'm running 720p essentially and seeing the text just fine, I honestly have never ever had issues seeing the text in eve and that goes back to beta using a 17 inch SVGA CRT that was already 8 years old at the time nothing i see on screen is smaller then i see in the newspaper or in a book (the map has some pretty small text, but i can still read it) make sure you have your rig setup correctly and use quality monitors with good backlight. seriously, I never really understood this particular complaint The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. One of my friends plays the game on a new iMac with a very high native resolution. Result: The text in the game is VERY small, you almost need binoculars to read it. Before everybody starts whining "don't use a Mac", you'll have the same problem on a pc if your resolution is a bit higher than the mainstream resolution. Fix FW !
