Currently i use a Broadsword with 1-2 remote reppers on me,tho now im looking for something to tank and deal decent dmg or even tank on its own. i was thinking a faction fitted T3 but just looking for ideas on what other people have tried and tested with success.

As above. A tengu will handle everything bar the last room solo mind you. A pimped legion can tank the last room solo too, but it's got no real damage.
Ishtars are your friend.

any HIC with the right logistic support ship. most hac's can be fitted to tank it but mostly only armor tanked hac's

I highly doubt it's possible solo, though I could be proven wrong.
Did it this weekend with a corp mate. I was tanking the last room with a Absolution running gang links, being repped by a Oneiros and dps came from a Dominix. Trying to use just the Abso and Oneiros with the amount of jamming present would probably be frustrating as hell..
If money isn't an option, try something like this?
