Wise words but NC wont be able to back goons up. They're going to be busy for awhile as the Atlas-WI war is only escalating. This third grat war seems to have already started. IT and allies invade fountain and Atlas and allies fighting the NC. What happens when SPLOT losses fountain. What happens when all the NC is preoccupied saving geminiate or any other systems Atlas' allies want. Tau Ceti federaton is falling apart so the only allies goons have are right next to them. Without SPLOT and NC those allies wont help them much. SirMolle proved his alliance is still a superpower with fountain and have some good strategies. As you put it they can always feild a good fleet and your goons cant do squat. If they were so powerful SPLOT wouldnt be losing this war. |

SPLOT have already lost, they just don't realize it yet.
Fountain is a done deal, IT will have a few stations in Delve by end of February. |

PL to Goons in EVE is like Elitist Jerks to Something Aweful in WoW.
The difference being that PL is terrible and EJ's came out pretty ok.

Not in CAOD it seems. I would not read too much into it. Just as I would not read too much into it. It is just like trash in a basketball pick-up game.
One thing I think CAOD is missing though is the actual content. Not everyone can be expected to know what the reference of a particular bit of trash is. This has a tendency to derail threads. Actual battlereports can be found elsewhere. Maintaining such a forum requires heavy moderation - no such luck here it seems.

Returning to the Topic -Fountain Update- for those that don't remember.
IT have spent the last 3 days unopposed, ripping up PL structures and putting multiple stations into their final reinforced period. There is no doubt that this was aided by offencives in the north and south keeping PL allies pinned in home defence operations.
The next 48 hours could be very interesting should Goons/PL decide to fully mobilise and mount an 11th hour defence of fountain.
If IT win then Fountain falls and we can I am sure look forward to a new theatre of war in the future.
If PL win then we will be doing it all again very soon
