resolved as of revision 34. There is a checkbox to hide any non-active order on the Market Orders tab now. Will be included in version 1.2.4 (release date: soon™)

what does the 'ETCB' tab mean; and the quantity column is very very confusing 0_o. So how does that work with all the -1/0/1/1 ??

No idea. I will have to look in the code to tell. I'll post my findings later.

I think that's "Estimated time until order filled". No clue how well it actually works, never used the thing.

this is correct. The equation is: VolumeRemaining / (IssuedSince / (VolumeEntered - VolumeRemaining))
IssuedSince is in days.
the 1/1/0/1 thing is the following:
(EstimatedSoldAmount/Price) VolumeRemaining VolumeEntered marketOrder.VolumeMinimum
in this order.
The whole thing is a bit complicated, I might write a wiki article about it with the equations, but I have to get behind it first.

This topic introduced me to this program. Very cool. Thanks
Would it be possible to include a small reference text to identify all the numbers displayed for each tab? I understand some of the them but some.... Anyway, I suspect I am not the only one that could use some explaination.
Thank you

I will make up my mind about this.
Guriko: I guess you are using the program with a character, that has either no liked by or disliked by standings? It is a problem with the standings parser. Some guy in the german forums is experiencing the same, I'll have to see how to fix it (I thought I had already).

little update: AverageBuyPrice already is calculated by only the last ten transactions. So if you have a lot of transactions, it shouldn't be a problem at the moment. Only problem it will produce if you have some, but over a longer timeframe.

Ok, that's not as bad as I figured for the most part but itĘ still not ideal.
If you trade something like ammo with a very high number of trades (station trade that is) your price history, averaged, could be less than an hour.
Alternatively if you traded Freighters or something odd like a Flycatcher (I donĘt think that many are sold are they?) the opposite would be the case, the last 10 could span weeks possibly.

Would it be possible to calculate the average buy price over the 'selected' timeframe? (so. i.e. 7/14/etc days?)

Fema, I cannot say how much it matters that you have picked this application up. I have been using it for as long as it has beem out and since the 'INT52 overload' error it has been pretty frustrating. Let me know if ISK will support the development of this application.
For myself i am mostly into the daily profit thing as i keep track of 6 characters at tycoon level trading, and overview is not very easy anywhere BUT evetrader. Currently about 38mb of data file in Evetrader, so some of the All-time loopups take forever ;)
Feature request: In the daily sales amount, could you plot in an ALL TIME AVERAGE PROFIT line, so it is clear if you i am performing up to daily profit, under or over, you know like the current green line shows daily profit, it would be nice to have one in the background that shows all time daily average profit.
Otherwise I am really looking forward to you next release.

Added to the tracker, will be consider to put it into 1.2.4, but currently the major feature will be corporation wallets, which I will finish before doing anything else.

API currently is disabled, as it happends with most patches. Just be patient, it is not a fault on EveTraders side. But I'll add a "Api currently is down"-message to the requests.

Completely understood.
Got a new error today when EVE trader was blank when I opened it. I then restored a backup which it successfully restored, but then i get a "Unable to restore data Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation". Which i don't understand.

Edited by: ingenting on 19/02/2010 21:27:17 is there a way to get it to use the acutal price you paid for items, instead of "average" buy price (its kinda stupid since your "profit" changes every time you update)

I thought it took the historical average buy price to calculate profit. And in that case yes if the market becomes more competitive it will show a too high profit.

Femaref might be able to. But post it as a change request on the developers blog: http://code.google.com/p/evetradercs/wiki/Changelog124
I paid him 50mil to try have him look into updating some minor stuff, but i think he is busy studying these days... :(
