However videos won't help you much unless you have same fitting/skills. Do you have trouble running some particular mission? What are your skills and what is your fitting look like? Tell us time - how long you run that mission. You will see more answers and that answers will help you more. What's the point of watching low quality video where player cliks on hardeners, fires torps/cruise missiles and sometimes click on shield booster. It all easy - use your range and get rid of dangerous frigs (webbing, scrambling) first while they MWD to you. Use drones :) If it is not enough ask someone to grab raven with your fit and for some moderate sum of ISK to make and record that particullar mission for you. Watching someone in a vid and then flying your raven in there is more of a recipie for desaster. How come you start running missions from lvl 4, and not lvl 1, anyways? Useful site for missions can be found here. check what the triggers are and manage the incoming damage through aggro.

Will that cover most of your costs in case of unexpected ship loss? If so, do feel free to be bold and just have a go at things. Think about some of these questions...answer them in thread if you like...You won't need a video in order to figure out your new Raven, I guarantee it. Even with a xl booster running it sometimes isn't enough, and i've even tried cap booster loadouts and would run out of cap boosters by the time half the mission would be done it seems. That's why i wanted to see others do it because it sounds like it's a piece of cake to do alot of these missions in a raven... but not for myself.

I only have 3 rat specific resistance amps, and and XL shield booster + amp. The only capacitor mod I use is a cap flux coil. EFT says my cap lasts 1 minute 12 seconds. Many missions I don't need to boost my shields at all. The ones I do, I usually boost my shields when they are at 50% and stop when my cap is at 50%. If the dps is really high, I'll boost my shields when they get to around 30%, and stop when my cap is around 30%. Can you post your fit we would be able to help you better. Whats your resists/shield recharge time on your ravens on these missions? I know they are mission specific (hardeners) but im curious. Tip: moving reduces incoming dps a great deal (try clicking around in space, or orbiting the warp in beacon) Tip: tanks don't get rats, all the shield skills in the world won't help you if you can't kill off the incoming dps

I'll get those up along with warhead upgrades to 4. That dps calculation was of course with drones. The arbalest launchers cost about 15 mill per launcher in sinq laison from what i've seen... is jita cheaper?

Dacryphile	Posted - 2010.01.13 18:51:00 - [30] You are going to start making serious isk soon with L4s, so its a good idea to start investing in implants and faction gear that will help with your low skills. For implants, look at zainou snapshot ZMUs and deadeye ZMMs to increase your rate of fire and damage per missile. Deadeye ZMA and ZMS will help hitting smaller ships too. The 3% implants should be affordable. Eventually you'll want to move up to the 5%s. As far as faction gear goes, CN cruise lauchers and ballistic control systems will add about 100 dps to your set up. Then of course, there is the most important faction gear of all for a mission runner, the ship. The Raven Navy Issue has 50% more shields than a stock raven, which give your tank a lot more leeway. It also has a 7th launcher which gives you another 75dps or so. Prices have really dropped too. You can find one for about 400M in contracts.
