I, like I believe most players do, will often dump a lot of loot in "home station" to run more missions faster, then sell all the loot once. Often times, when faced with too much loot to sell, one will reprocess everything, and sell the remaining ore. This is a bit contrary to the idea of making money, as sometimes, you refine something that was worth a LOT more ISK then the material it refined for. My suggestion is this.
When we view our assets, either on the items screen, or the assets screen, can you add a tab that will show the meta level of an item, similar to the quantity tab? I feel this would eliminate a lot of heartache associated with selling loot.
Thank you for your time.

That is a good idea. atm I am having to read each item to make that determination. With me its like this, All generic loot unlees I have a rookie in the corp / fleet gets scrapped. the named stuff I will test sell. Meaning when I quick sell I look at the asking price and the reginal price. if its a poor price it gets scrapped I dont deal with looking for the best system to sell something unless I manufactured item I made. All named loot if it has a good selling price is either sold or moved in a seperate station contained. A tab that shows the potiential value would help a lot. As it would save a lot of work currently spent in seperating and categorizing.

I watch this idea go further and further down the thread list... How do I bring attention to it?

I like this idea. Could even have a small button option on that items window that could toggle meta numbers on and off.

bump as well, but i dont have high hopes ccp does change it sometime soon. this request was made already when i joined eve over a year ago. even though you can take the info for api pages you cant add a column with the meta level.

This request has been around for a long time already. Anyway, dig-up the thread in the assembly hall and bump it there so the CSM will take action!

Jup, something must be done to mass selling of loot - currently it is pain, checing every item to sell it at resonable price (else reproces it) is very time consuming. I discovered I reprocesed items wort of 500k, just because they was selling at 50 isk (and I noticed e.q. -99,5% of average market price) - but I vas used items at these sell values are valued of cca 5-20k. So I lost nice amount of money due to reprocessing. ------------------------------------------------

This idea is discussed here: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1247625&page=2 I think the visibility of meta levels would make it more easier but the rest is just the market. If you dont want to get "communistic reprocess quotes" at the mat-value I dont think its solved easy. ;)
