I must confess I'm a massive cheapskate so I never fly shiny stuff in pvp. In my experience the increase in performance never justifies the price paid on subcaps.
I look at you flying around with your e-peen ship and wonder what the motivation is? It's not really for the solo thrill as I see it since you have a falcon alt scouting for you and jamming you out of trouble too if it comes to that. People pvp'ing in these ships don't really distinguish themselves for being ballsy, they either fall into the "rich and stupid", the "bait" or the "look at me11!!!" category.
Not that it isn't an admirable aim but I think the days of this being a viable method of play have passed. I think population density and relative SP makes it harder now than say, in Farjungs day.
Anyway, I'll end my ramble now and say gl, and from my POV it seems if idle empire grew a pair they could have spanked you in 3 seconds flat, caps or no.

Somehow i reckon it would be easy to fly an expensive ship 'solo', if one is secure in the knowledge he can press a button and bring in a capital fleet if there is the slightest possibility of losing said expensive ship
