Well, more a question for the sake of curiosity, but...
Can anyone tell me the 'best' PVP setup for an Abaddon dealing with Battlecruisers and Battleships that A: doesn't use more than one tech II module (preferably none), and B: doesn't use Capacitor batteries?
I know it must sound weird, and before anyone jumps on me, I do realise such a fit wouldn't hold up against your usual faction-toting PVP'ers. That is obvious, thank-you-very-much >.>
I'm not all too experienced with PVP so, eh. And all the suggested fittings I've read seem to expect me to pull faction modules from my behind out of hand.

Seriously, go with an Armageddon or Apocalypse. If you don't have the skills for T2 modules, you probably don't have the skills to keep an Abaddon running for more than 30 seconds... they're terribly short on capacitor. Apoc has a much better capacitor, not to mention the optimal range bonus, both of which make it far more forgiving to low-skill pilots with T1 gear. The Armageddon is a decent choice because it's cheap and deadly.

The abaddon practically screams for T2, i honestly wouldn't cut corners with it. If you want cheap laser DPS use an Armageddon until you can T2 fit out the abaddon
