My corp has been living in WH space for almost a month now, its mostly made up of miners, so the abundant amount of grav sites is something we enjoy immensely. About a week ago, they stopped spawning. I thought I read somewhere that if you do one type of site only it will stop spawning. Is this true? I've looked everywhere to find out but i could find nothing.
If we start doing all the other sites in the WH will the gravs come back? Or is this just a drought we have to suffer through?

It's just a drought. Our corp went almost a week without a grav site. After that, one spawned and we started mining it. Within the next couple of days while we were still working on that site, three more grav sites spawned overnight within about a 5 hour period.

My corp lives in C2, with static outs to low & another C2.
Atm we have been without a single site for over a week now.
At some point we had 3 grav sites + ladar/radar/magnet spawn during 24h, so it's a game of luck.
We just take advantage of the static C2 which usually leads to C4. If it's occupied and we are outnumbered we just close the hole and get new, rinse and repeat.
We recently got more people into living in our hole, so the closing-game started big time. At the same time we are running 0 signatures (other than the 2 static's) in our own hole. Are those two things related, who knows? Don't think so myself, but got nothing to base that assumption on though. |

You need to take some risk and explore the connecting wh systems. Many times I've been to connecting wormholes to find no one in them and 5 belts.
From my time in a C2, I learned quickly that the sites in the wh you have your pos in won't keep you busy enough. Branch out some. Best way to go.

I've been in a WH for a month and a half or so and scan it all the time. There's been times when there's nothing nice for about 5 days.
If the system is 'dying' give it a week or so to recoup. Then start clearing it again.
Of course there are the raiders who happen to ninja the sites while you're at class or something...
