Hey, So i just started last week and i have the T1 learning skills to level 3. I have drones to 4 some in combat drones etc. Ive gotten to cruisers 2 (so i can fly a vexor) and got the basics of salvaging skills (help with cap regen and use a salvager). If you want more specifics to exactly ive learned i can provide it when i can log into the game. The salvaging i got because my corp runs missions and i can tag along and salvage for easy money to help me buy skills and gain standing with agents in the area.
So im hoping to be viable as a droneboat for missions and eventually some pvp, but i was at a loss of where to go after getting the learning skills to lvl4. Should i start T2 learning skills, should i go for more drone skills, should I learn more in hybrid turrets, would electronics/engineering/mechanics be the way to go and not use turrets but use electronic warfare with the drones? What would help me do missions and become "pvp ready" quickest. Im not really looking to move up in ships unless yall think a vexor isn't a good choice for what im wanting to do.

yea ive seen that, the problem is i have teh desired ship id like to fly for a while(vexor). I don't really know what i need to fit to do what i want or which is more useful first. Having better weapons on my ship, or having better drones? Whichever it is, is it better to be able to fit larger weapons, or better smaller weapons for L2/L3 missions? Would the skills from one of those align better for pvp? etc

Personally, If you can do level 2 missions, I would concentrate on the learning skills first as they will help you train much faster. I would also consider traing cybernetics to a level which allows you to use +3implants (atleast) If you can't afford +3's recommend you get atleast the +3 memory implant first so it helps speed up your learning skills. Since Im assuming this is your only character I would suggest training Learning to 5 and all T1 learning skills to 4 or 5 and T2 learning skills to 4.
After you train your learning skills then you can play around with the other skills. I know it sucks and you want to do alot of things right away but in the long run its better.

When flying a vex i assume your on gallente boats. Vex is a drone vessel doing very well in missions. If you will continue to missioning, ad stay with droneboats your way will be myrm and domi.
As all of those mainly work with drones, the drone skills are a must. Of course after your drone skills are high enough gunnery helps a lot.
YouŠll have to decide if you want to max out your learnig skills, some ppl do some donŠt. Personally i didŠnt at the beginning, but now after deciding to stay to eve, i found out that this was the wrong way.
