PAX East is fast approaching and I would love to have an Eve player's meetup at some point during the weekend.
What is PAX?
PAX is a gaming festival. Gaming nerds from across the world come together for a weekend of merriment, socializing, and lots of game playing. If you have never heard of PAX, this video sums it up nicely: http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/pa-the-series/101/

What does PAX have to do with Eve?
CCP Games has always had a presence at PAX Prime (the west coast PAX). Their party is legendary for being the craziest of the weekend. Hopefully they will be doing something similar on the East coast. If not, then I will take it upon myself to at least organize an Eve drinkup at a local bar.
Can I play Eve at PAX?
Yes! CCP's booth has it's own SiSi type server set up with a bunch of decked out gaming rigs and a fully stocked market. You can stop by, grab a seat, and start shooting at people. Also, there is a giant weekend long lan party that welcomes players to bring their own computers and play whatever games they want. There are tournaments (yes, including eve), prizes, and other fun stuff going (details: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=109946).
If you are planning on going post here so that we can start organizing some Eve-centric events!

Myself and CCP Loktofeit will be there checking out the show. This year EVE won't be representing booth style, but we'll both be doing our best to make up for it--planning on meeting with press, scouring the floor and hanging out with community folks as best we can.
I'll shoot you my email so we can meet up and flag this thread to keep an eye on it.

Was looking forward to the Seattle show till you said no booth  I had a great time on the puters trying out all the new toys last year. At least hand out some T-Shirts lol  ... Rope off a "Jita" corner |

I'll be in Boston that whole weekend for PAX East. A meetup would be awesome.
Also glad there will be some CCP representation, even if there isn't a full booth.
