Now if ccp added the option to allow poor players to sell isk to buy charity $'s from a more wealthy player, that could be cool.
An option other than Plex's. Player X donated $20 to CCP and gets a donation token that he then sells to player y for 150m ISK. Then CCP donated the $20 to their choice charity and sends player y a reciept thst player y can use for tax purposes.

Is it too soon to joke about Haiti or should we wait till the dust settles?

Originally by: Epic DaSoto I am writing today to update you our work in response to the recent 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Haiti. Sadly, the situation continues to worsen. Over a million people have been affected by this devastating tragedy. HaitiÆs ambassador to the U.S. has called the quake a öcatastrophe of major proportions.ö
I know many of you are saying, "How can I help? I don't have money." But you do have ISK!
Our Caldari team is ready to help those in Port-au-Prince. We are assessing the situation and determining how we can best help survivors pick up the pieces and rebuild.
Our ability to respond depends on supporters like you. Will you please make an ISK gift to Civire Cross today so that we can try and help families rebuild?
This disaster is a major setback for the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, where more than half the population lives on less than $1 ISK day.
Our first phase of work in Haiti will be collect as much ISK as possible since it is a difficult place to obtain ISK.
Based on past experience, it could cost about 2500000 ISK to provide a family with helpù your emergency donation today will help us determine how much ISK will be needed. Thank you again for your help during this critical time.
Something really bad should happen to you. Not your character. You.

RL threats are against the forum rules AFAIR.
Quote: Facts:
You are overweight - http://eve-search.com/thread/1244782 You enjoy roleplaying as a slaveowner http://eve-search.com/thread/1239539
You are basically everything wrong with the internet.
I'd make fun of you more, but you'd probably just get off on it.
Correction, I was overweight. Feel free to resume your internet psychoanalysis under the assumption that everything I write about myself anonymously on the internet is true, and my anonymous roleplaying on the internet somehow represents my social and political viewpoints in RL.
Gotta love how you can't poke a joke at a "sad event" like this until a month later it magically becomes ok and everyone stops caring as soon as the media does. You're pathetic the lot of you.
I'm trying to think of a single event involving tens of thousands of deaths anywhere in history that is Hi-larious and "ok" to joke about. What are you talking about? Outside of the internet, which is full of asocial fat people who like to pretend they're slaveowners in video games about spaceships.
