I dont know whether ive posterd this in the right place, if not please feel free to eat me Being on dial up, the file size of this new patch is a big issue, i just got told its around 900 megabyte, if so, i will probably leave the world of eve since it will take a lifetime to download (since my isp disconects me every 2 hours) Please can someone let me know more about this update, will it be release on CD to buy for dial up users, or will it be legal for someone to copy the patch to CD for me and post it to me for a small cost?
I dont want to leave eve but 900mb?

900mb is a bit too much. Rather think of ~150mb.
Usually you can download the patches from the site too. Use a download accelerator and resume your download after a disconnect.

The last I saw on the test patch, it was about 103 MB, which is doable on 56k, especially since the servers will be down 24hours while they are patched. This will give you ample time to DL the client patch.

That's not the Exodus patch, that's the whole Eve client.

Confirmed, the patch to take the latest copy of eve to exodus is 103 meg, they even have a BitTorrent version for people who use that paticular download manager.
It can be found under the "Patches" submenu of the Downloads section of the site.

Use bittorrent and it doesn't matter even if your isp keep disconnecting you, because bittorrent is able to pick it up where it was left. You could also use normal download and download manager that is able to handle disconnects, but i recoment that you use bittorrent one.

Seriously, or I am going nuts or you all are freaking nuts.
I checked the submenu's, I checked patches, http://www.eve-online.com/patches/patches.asp
Now tell me if Exodus is between that? patch.eve-online.com Patches version 1.29.1754 (Released 2004.08.31) to 2.01.2942 103 MB
Thats the latest one, Eve is starting up now, downloading the patch automaticly but after 10 mins. I canceled it cause it was only at 1%...
I downloaded the full version of 500mb but I dont wanna re-install Eve...
