It is interesting to see you allowing these freedoms to our brethren, Tharrn. Perhaps you will learn something of the humanity of the Matari, and see past your people's stereotypes. I do hope that, at least on some level, you can feel respect for these people, even if it is but a patriarch's pride for his unknowledgeable flock.
The other Empires have officially illegalized the transportation of slaves within their space; even if our brothers cannot be freed, it is almost certain that we are coming to the last generations of slavery. I only wish that these poor souls would be allowed to seek out their own futures outside of the Empire and the fate determined by their Masters. Still, in allowing them to taste autonomy, you are at least more enlightened than those base slave hoarders who treat their "posessions" indelicately and irresponsibly.

A slave is still a slave. Treated well or treated poorly the enslaved individual is still without that most greatest and basic need.
Freedom.
If this Amarrian was truly beneficent as he so wants us to believe, he would caste the shackles off these people and give them their freedom, so they could return to their homeland and their families. As it is, he prefers to massage his already bloated Amarrian ego by having people obey him and do his will.
His is still a slaver, and should i see him, i will kill him for what he has done to my people.
