Alright so far so good. My Vexor is up and running. I have 2 "5" light scout drone teams and 4 medium scout drones in my drone bay. Good guns and decent armor.
Now I need better missions. As it stands the assignments that where challenging with my frigate and destroyer are fish food to the Vexor. I have been looking for better missions by jumping from station to station and trying them out. But still no challenge and not much pay.
Am I doing this wrong? Is there a search engine I can use or a trick to finding better missions?

Also, keep in mind that better missions ("levels") are unlocked by building standing with a single corp. No corps have Level 2 missions for you yet because you haven't worked long enough with one corp, sounds like.
Pick a corp you like (For Gallente, Federation Navy or Sisters of Eve can be good choices) and do missions for that corp to raise your standing. As the corp likes you better, you'll be able to access better agents with that corp.
Training the Connections skill will also help.

Better agents doesn't mean you qualify into using them, to know what agents you can currently use:
Open your star map -> world map control panel
Label; stars -> my information -> my available agents, then view the star map. Mouse over to see their level and quality.
You might need to grind a few days a low level agent to get access to a higher level agent. You can see what standing you need with the agent's corp if you get info on that agent you want to mission for on the tab 'agent info'. The info you want is located in the bottom.
An other way to find agents you can work for is get info on the NPC corp-> agents. You can see then if they have any agents available to you. When docked up easiest way is to hit the blue (i)nfo button in the top right of the station you are in. Or get info on your current agent then hit its corporation shield/logo.
Edit: and yes get connections to 3.

it has filters so u can keep it in high sec and only show agents u can use with the req.Stand filter
