Orebuster Gallente GoonFleet GoonSwarm	Posted - 2010.01.18 03:22:00 - [1] Dear CCP, Speaking for all the pilots who fly in 0.0, i would like to suggest that you roll it back to the Dominion expansion day 1. We, the regular and loyal pod pilots, the guys that support you through thick and thin and boot.ini have a request. Usually, when you do a patch, or an expansion, we know to expect a day or two of rough going while you fix the bugs. This time, you chose to just let the expansion fly in the face of multiple, severe bugs, and in some cases, game crippling lag issues. If you have patched it, they have been ninja patches. I guess what we're all worried about is the crashes and blackscreens that make our investment, both in time and isk, subject to the non-loggable whims of your programming. I speak for every subscriber when I say, roll it back to day 1, let's start over, and you can patch it using the info you have now. No more 1 hour, 2 hour rollbacks, that is silly, and rewards those who exploited development issues throughout this last month. Thanks for your attention, and thanks in advance for listening to all of your subscribers.

Goons have to jump in to system to shoot some placeholder. Goons jump in, screens go black, clowns turkeyshoot goons, fight over. scene 2: Clowns have 200 in system. Goons have 600. Goons have 200 ready to jump into system to shoot placeholder. Goons jump in, node crashes, rollback. scene 3: Clowns have 400 in system. Goons have 600. Node crashes. will it be another rollback? are we playing on sisi against our will? either this server has consequences or it doesn't, either you kill something or you don't? if i had just finished a plex and got some great loot, all my work would be for naught? it isn't right, it doesn't make sense. roll it all the way back, and lets start over.

Prior to Dominion, we were able to have fleet fights with 1k + on grid with some regularity. I'm not saying it was lag free (it wasn't), but it was still playable. You could, if you knew a bit about overview mechanics, bring in fleets and fight. Now, you can't fight with more than 4 or 5 hundred in local, it just stalls out. I am looking at this problem through the eyes of every pilot in 0.0 that spends time and effort to fit and buy a ship to fight with. If you don't have a chance to load grid, either because of a black screen or a crashed node, there is a problem with basick game mechanics. You can look at my killboard, I haven't lost any boats, but I watch the battles, and they just aren't good. I like shooting fish in a barrel as much as the next guy, but that isn't why I play EvE. I mean, basically, the way it works now, we are wandering around with a chessboard, looking for somebody with downs syndrome to play.

Waiting 2-3 hours for fight, fight is on. 20 sec later u get 2x-8x doomsdayed.
