Who are we?
We are a small, growing corporation involved in numerous aspects of life in Eve. We are miners, mission runners, traders, explorers, manufacturers and PvPers. We are new players and not-so-new players, united in our desire to shun piracy. Quite often, we like to go off and do our own thing, but there are times when we need assistance from others or even protection as we venture out of Empire space.
What are our goals?
We want to secure enough territory that we can operate in all professions without living in fear of pirates. Currently we are too small to even begin thinking about gaining sovereignty over systems of our own, but that is what we are reaching for. A place where miners can mine, explorers can explore, and any pirate who dares enter our territory is shot on sight. We're a long way from that goal, but the process of getting there should be extremely fun.
What are we looking for?
New and old players alike. We need veterans who can train new players, and new players who can bring new ideas to the table. Specifically, we're looking for the following traits:
* Older than sixteen days, which almost guarantees you're not on a trial account.
* Willingness to both teach and learn. We need people who can share their skills while still being willing to learn new ones
* Easy going personality, not judgmental of other players styles or abilities.
* A willingness to engage in PvP when the need arises, or on those occasions when we decide to go pirate hunting
* Willing to pay a 2.5% tax that helps us pay for things like ammo, stations, skill books, etc.
* Don't mind spending a day or two in PvP if you're a miner, or spend some time protecting a mining fleet if you're into PvP.
* Are kind enough to help others gain standing and skills to work up to higher level missions
In order to be exceptionally profitable in Eve, you have to take risks. We want to minimize those risks as much as possible, but there will always be someone looking to pick a fight and we don't intend to shy away.
Right now, more than anything else, we need miners, mission runners/PvPers, and people into manufacturing/research. But if that's not your ball of wax, don't let that stop you from applying. We have room for all types of players, as long as you're not a pirate or griefer.

Special Note:
New players are welcome and encouraged to apply. We do not care about time zones or if you need to unplug for a few days here and there. Real life gets in the way sometimes and we have no problem with that. ECP Inc. is intended to be a community of players, not some top-heavy, high demand corporation that places restrictions on its members. Our basic philosophy is that if you're not having fun, then what's the point?
