Ive bought a Amarr Medium Pos that i want to setup in a 0.5 System in caldari space, my character has good enough standing with caldari to set it up and is the only member so far in the corp but when i try to set it up it says my corp doesnt have good enough standing so my question is how do i get the corp standing with caldari? Thanks in advance :)

To anchor a PoS in 0.5 you need at least 5.0 standing, with the local Faction.
The "faction" of the tower doesn't matter.
To raise your faction standings you need to do storyline missions - they are the ones that you get after completing 16 normal missions.

How old is the corp? It takes a few days for the corp standings to update to the members.

Have to be in the corp 7 days before your standing affects the corp standing.

Also, you appear to only have a 4.72 standing with Caldari State. The Connections skill does not count towards your standings for your corporation.

Corp faction standings are computed (averaged) every DT.
However, they only calculate standing for employees that have been with the corp for 7+ days.
Standings are not affected by ppl that have no standing towards said faction. Which means a corp with one person and two trash alts that haven't done anything in game will only have standings computed from the single main char...the alts won't affect standing.

This is no longer the case, they do not change daily, they only change when any person has joined or leaves the corp after 7 days, until then the corp standings stay the same, CCP removed the "daily corp standings change" to lesson load on server during DT.
Nowadays its done in 1 lump sum on the 7th day that the corp has had a member change.

Not quite. What they did away with was the gradual adjustments of standings when new members joined the corp, in favor of the straight daily average.
Standings are computed daily as an average of all members who have been in the corp for 7 days and have a non-null standings with a corp or faction. It's not only done when a member joins or leaves a corp, because those are not the only times when a corp member's standing can change. If members run missions, and gain (or lose) some standings, will influence the corp standings at downtime, not when a member joins or leaves the corp.
