Who we areā
Royal Black Watch Highlanders is an organization based upon mutual respect, trust and caring. We exist solely to have fun and enjoy our time in EVE together. Many corporations require members to pay exorbitant taxes, dues, or require participation in corporate events etc. We do not. While we do have those types of events attendance is not mandatory but it would be nice to see our members at as many events as possible.
The reason we are so easygoing about members 'doing what they want' is that those of us running the corporation have been around MMORPG's for a very long time. From UO to EQ1 and every game in between up till now in EVE. Every game has guilds, corporations, clans, etc. And in all of them there has always been a common theme: Do things our way if you join us. Not so here! We believe that the most important function of any game organization is to help enable you, the members, to have FUN. As such we do not have a huge tax rate, after all it's not THAT expensive to maintain a couple offices and the website and forum are free of charge.
Many members ask where we got the name from. It is borrowed from a very famous Scottish regiment in the British army. The Black Watch Royal Highland Regiment, who's history in the British military dates back to 1725. Their valor, honor and dedication to their duties won them accolades, honor and fame. We strive to live up to the proud name we have borrowed.
What we offer:

- No pressure... do what you enjoy
- Low tax rate! Only 2% to pay for website, offices and other sundries
- Corporate Forums for easier coordination of corp operations
- Advancement opportunities! We are a growing corp and, as such, will have many opportunities for members to step into officer roles.
- Skillbook & Ship assistance... once we reach a certain level of income from our 2% tax we will be assisting our members with purchases of skillbooks and ships.

Welcome to EVE! We're a pretty friendly bunch. We base in a system that is near the Rens & Hek market hubs in Minmatar space. We're also fairly close to Dodixie as well. Our pilots, however, don't always live near our home system as they run missions, trade or whatever all over EVE.
Please feel free to give us a shout in our public channel and/or evemail myself or Lara in game (our names are linked in the public channel so you can easily send us mails from there if one of us are not online.)
Some of our members also frequent the chat channel so feel free to talk to any of them that are in there as well :)

Well I never inquire as to someones location but based on who I've interviewed we have several folks from that area. Some Brits, some Scotts I think even a couple Irish... we have a couple who live right near the actual Black Watch military base.
And of course, Lara is Scottish descent American.

Primarily a pve mission runner, though I do have a few other skillsets.

Well, been a member of the Royal Black Watch Highlanders for more then a week now. Im a old bugger(age39), work ,reallife obligations, bla bla bla. I'm having a good time with these people.
How to describe this crowd, mature, helpful, fun, respect for RealLife, hmmm, Corp mining operations, some people do missions together, some do pvp and more stuff, exploration. For me its a nice place to hang out when I need to relax after work, I can be lazy, I can be active, I can tell bad jokes and my bad spellin is accepted,lol. Some of the highlanders play alot, some play more casual. They seam like a solid bunch of people.

If you are a PVP Pilot capable of flying a T2 fitted T2 ship (yes, interceptors count) contact us in game on our public channel. Being able to fly a proper HAC or T2 fitted Battlecruiser is an added bonus.
Some FC experience is also a plus.
