The current build is just too laggy to play. When will we see a fix? I seriously have no desire to "play" when it 1) takes 5 minutes to log into a system and 2) assuming I do get into the system I have likely lost my ship, and 3) if by some miracle I have not lost my ship, activating modules etc takes equally long if not longer.
Apocrypha was much more playable. Revert to the Apocrypha build if necessary while fixing Dominion as paying for a substantially unplayable game does not make much sense.

Get ready for the fanbois to inform you that it is YOUR system, even though you haven't changed it since Dominion was deployed. Or that it is your ISP, yeah the one that worked fine before Dominion was deployed. Or it is the internets fault, which again is the same one we all used before Dominion was deployed.
So, nooby fanbois, before you post your patronizing ****e, explain why the game was playable before Dominion was deployed. But as soon as Dominion was deployed it becomes unplayable.

Being a CCP coding expertogenius, I can safely say that the new Dominion sovereignty code has overloaded the induction output buffers on the networking communicables that connect the Heisenfram compensators, which causes the proxy nodes to require additional (and unavailable) rotational hamster power to properly shift the kiloquads of data before netfail
It's all very complicated; but suffice it to say, someone screwed up the programming somewheres, and therefore, lag _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

that's just a fancy way of saying they need to upgrade their flux capacitor.

Getting the hamsters to run at 88 mph should do the trick. Get on it, CCP!!

Nay, sir, for the flux capacitor is the weakest of technobabble, and the network team would sooner be caught using a hydrospanner to adjust their input power thresholds than place a flux capacitor anywhere near the tranquility cluster _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

I think you mean Heisenberg compensators, which determine the state of each and every atom in a single point in time. That's what make the flux capacitor's output stable enough to cause our ships to go into warp.

posting in a no **** sherlock thread. The entire eve universe alread knows this thanks to the hundreds of threads by (insert alliance here). If you didn't notice CCP Tanis and other devs held several fleet battles on the test server to find out the source. Also I am sure ccp took a lot of notes and data from the battles in 49- for the past two weeks in an effort to find it.
Now everyone stop posting about the lag, you guys are starting to sound like the stop ninja salvagers and omg where's concord i got ganked in high sec.

Couldn't it just be a simple case of the Dilithium crystals are shot? They can simple replace these with a standard sonic screwdriver, undoing the lug nut behind the hyper spacial time indexing continuum processor.

If you have "no desire to play" then don't play and stop paying. Pretty simple.

The problem isn't the flux capacitor.
The problem is the Oscillation Overthruster.
They are using Lord John Whorfin's borked version.
