Looking around the forums and eve-agents I have determined that I would like to run level 4's for the Ministry of War. I have been searching for an optimal mission site that I will let me do level 1 missions and get Ministry of War storyline missions. Same with level 2's, 3's, and 4's.
If anyone has any alternate suggestions I would be happy to hear them.

Edited by: station rat on 19/01/2010 23:21:53 Yanuel and Taru are the two best locations for MoW. If I am not mistaken they do have all 4 agent levels between those two systems. Another bonus is that they are 1-2 jumps respectively from Tash-murokon (Minor hub) and 3-4 jumps from Amarr (major hub).
The agent in Taru is lvl 4 quality 0. Not the best, but again location, location, location.

It's 20. And there are A LOT of mission runners in that system. I think it is the best place in Amarr space.

I've been working for the Ministry of Internal Order myself and it's biggest hub as far as I can tell is Penirgman but I left that system and work for a lesser quality agent elsewhere now, mainly because of the massive amount of ninja salvagers and mission loot stealers in my level 4's. Seeing multiple ones in a mission is no exception sadly, so I wonder how this goes for you guys in Taru?
Penirgman has between 180 and 240 people in local at EU primetime if that is an indication.

Penirgman is full of punks, but it is by no means the only place to do missions.

This might help you to organize for doing missions in remote places.

The url of the agent locator you link to gets screwed up by the profanity filter I think. :)
You're guide is helpful though. Three main ships is exactly the setup I use for missions. (With props to my Harb which can do just about every secondary task from salvaging to small scale secure hauling).
The agent I work for now is luckily pretty close to Amarr while his system is nice and quiet. I wonder though, whether the difference of 16 in agent quality is a big loss or not. So far it seems to be around a third in isk and LP rewards but I still have to max my standing.
Another question which is still open for me is whether Penirgman's amount of leeches is exceptional compared to the main mission hubs for other corps like the Ministry of War or whether it is the standard in busy hubs.
Would be nice to have some kind of 'Lonely Planet mission hub guide' with details on average population and local cultural phenomena like the amount of ninja activity :>
Personally I like it much more if my main system is quiet. Space should feel huge and relatively empty rather than a shopping mall on a Saturday afternoon tbh.

I've only encountered a ninja salvager once and coincidentally it was yesterday. It's really annoying, but it hasn't ever happened to me before. Other than that...Taru is still rockin'!

Thanks for all the replys.. the only issue I seem to be having with missions in amarr space is that I can't find any that puts a storyline mission close enough to some combat missions for the same npc corp. I don't mind which npc corp it is as long as it gives combat missions.
I have since switched to caldari missions because I am familiar with agent locations.. I can find a level 1, 2, and 3 agent in one system for the same corp as well as a storyline agent in that same system with that corp.. just seems simple to me.
Was hoping to find one of those for amarr.
And as for the corp offer.. I will talk to you in-game.

I haven't had much luck finding worthwhile agents of various levels in the same system. I tend to move about one or twice per mission level to get the best around. I generally try to keep my mission hubs near Amarr (within 6 jumps or so) which made my Amarr Navy grind a bit of a pain. MoW worked out better that way.
As far as grinding MoW rep, I did it mostly on L3 agents in Andrub, where there are three L3 Q10+ Advisory agents. The missions were all quick, both courier and combat. Didn't give alot of rep each, but you can easily blow through them with a BS and industrial.
Now that I have 7.0 standing, I've gone to Taru though may move to Zorrabed if ninjas prove to be an issue.
