Right now i,m still in the noob corp for gallente 'university of caille'. If I want to work towards a navy dominix how should i go about it? Should I switch corps? Also do i need to join the military and if so will 4 points in diplomacy keep me from getting less than -5 with the other main factions? Or should i just run SOE missions until i get enough loyalty points to buy it from the military?

EVERYTHING in EVE can be bought or sold from other players (except SP). Navy Dominix are no exception.
The only way to create a Navy Domi yourself is to do Gallente Faction Warfare. Regular missions will NOT allow you to buy a Navy Domi from the NPCs but the ISK you get can buy it from other members.

u can join the gallante milita and run enough missions until you get enuff LP to buy it from the milita LP store but that means anyone from amarr or caldari can shoot you anytime. this might be the most exciting way to get the ship.
another option is to search Contracts.
or monitor the Sell Orders forum. salvage and loot from missions and save up your pennies.
i don't believe running SoE missions will get u closer to a navy domi as they are pacifists or something similar. |

Why is it I can run regular missons for the Caldari Navy with out joining FW and put points towards a CNR>?, I'm guessing Gallante offers the same option, or have I missed some important point?.

Gallente regular LP stores offer the navy Megathron, in glorious jungle camo. The Tier 1 navy BS (Scorpion Navy Issue, Dominix Navy Issue, etc) are exclusive to FW LP stores.
