When I try and open my map its freezes when the get data bar is fully loaded. its frozen in the sense I cant click anything, but I can see corpys speaking etc.

for me it worked out if i delet the stuff in the MachoNet Folder
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\d_eve_tranquility\cache\MachoNet

I too am having this problem, although if I hit Esc when the bar is full, the screen unlocks. What I then *can't* do, is close the map by clicking on the Close Map button.

same here do we have a work around, it seems that every patch is dominated with more bugs than fixes.

After reinstalling, messing with the appdata folder etc. I gave up and nearly rage-quit EVE. Go into ESC - Reset Settings - Then reset cache and all settings. Worked for me. Now just to change everything the way I want it back.... What a waste of 2 hours of my life.

Yes. Map fails to load, nothing else in the UI responds unless you hit ESC.
Tried selectively deleting cached data, to no effect.
Looks like a complete reset is next.

if you are in map try to select statistics and select one thing there
on a second account i had the same problem again.
I loged in kar and the problem was not there on this account.
I deletet machonet again loged in the account with the mapbug
f10 for map initializing map hit escape if the bar is full
select statistics average pilots
after this it worked

This happens to me also...its annoying.
I have to close eve to get back to the space screen.

i am also having this problem ever since the latest patch, i have cleared the patch stated abouve, re-installed the client and closed eve a countless number of times and i still cant get it to work, Any ideas?

Same here, solarsystem map is ok but If I try to open the proper map it freezes the whole computer, tried reinstalling from scratch but it's the same.
Dev's any way to give you the data or any response to this?

Same problem. Someone said copy and make a new eve instance for each eve account. not sure if it will work. its something with the app file or exe file not likeing two accounts. So make it so each on has its own prefrences. NOTE:i have not tired
and someone else said shift tab back to it. but pretty sure it dose the same thing as esc.
