old news is old news.......

Quote: As all eyes turn toward the biggest target on the EVE map, Delve, the question of why comes up from time to time so I thought I would help to clarify.
The only difference regarding D1/D2 vs. the looming D3 war is that in the first 2 wars Goons were perceived to be the underdog which, if victorious, would change the game for the betterà. After the Goon NAP had successfully driven BoB out of 0.0, and basically out of the game, all of EVE eagerly turned to see what great changes were about to occur with Goons now in control. We were promised great things by Goons if BoB, which brought war to most regions of EVE, was destroyed and once the spotlight was fixed firmly on Goons the EVE community was handed the following gifts from Goons:
ò 23/7 Forum chest beating the likes of which EVE had never sceneà ò Massive increase in scams and new player griefing.. ò Abandonment of all smaller Alliances that sided with them during the war. ò Empire Jihads against small industrial corporationsà.which goons failed at.. ò Constant threats by Goons and PL against Atlas, -A-, and many others that sided with BoB during the D2 war.. ò 6 Months of no pvp other than the pillow fights the NAP Train had for ôfunö over piles of R64sàà. ò Mittens endless ten-ton tool ramblings and embarrassing spy failings..
ò The NAP-Trainàà.Goons showed EVE the future of warfare in EVE. They brought new meaning the term ôblobö by rallying + of the 0.0 Alliances together to drive 1 Alliance out of the game. Goons then tried to use this approach against many others that actually had sov and failed. What they were successful at by using this approach was ****ing off all the capable pvp Alliances of EVE that were not yet grouped together with a common goal.
Overall what happened was that Goons over promised and way under delivered. They screamed about how BoB was everything that was wrong with the game but when the dust settled Goons only ended up showing us that BoB played a roll in trying to keep the game interesting.
As it stands now Goonsà.your pet PL was castrated by the Titan nerf, humiliated and driven from their home faster than any Alliance in EVE history while you stood by laughing. This last year you rode bikes while taunting your Allies which have now abandoned you. The Alliances that are coming for you are happy that you have so many systems and stations since they are looking forward to a very long war and some epic battlesà
GoonSwarm = ôWhile the majority of the failure alliances, corporations, and members we kill simply merge into other failed alliances and corporations like some rusted junkyard Voltron with Downs Syndrome (see Aggression/Atlas/Cult of War/Etc.), a few of these failures actually quit the game. This adds up. We realize this. Our enemies are less powerful than they were before. More so, some of the brighter members of the failure alliances we fight wake up from the cluster**** that is their horrible alliance and then join one of our allies (or just join us after pressing button and disbanding their ****ty alliance).ö
IT begins.......
