the forums are laying out wierd in windowed Internet Explorer too. Thats going to impact your grade! [edit: my tone was all wrong! I stabbed myself in the face with a soldering iron.]
Though ive always been very impressed with the eve's staffs ability to polish so im confident that the forums will lay out right windowed for everyone soon (tm). (Didnt want any passer byers to get the wrong impression of your work lol)
Edit:
I figured out the trouble spot. If you load an effective page full screen then window it the layout gets goofy [atleast in my browser]. Including the forums. However if you load a page straight into a window instead of full screen the layout is fine.[atleast in my internet explorer browser]

I didn't have any problems with the old site but this is nice too and does match the in-game GUI feel which is a great thing for any game wesite. Personally I would like to see a bit more to the top banner, perhaps some ships or something.
But, but, but, WHERE IS THE FORUM SEARCH TOOL?!?! LOL we can have a whole new site design but no forum search tool?

I just asked my room mate the same question. I'd like it CCP would at least get that in to go with all the spiffy new looks.

HAHA if those screen shots arnt concept art/renderings i really need to upgrade my card to a 6800 lol my game is a meer shadow of that.

if u can play doom 3 and half-life 2 with bumpmapping & specular mapping & advanced physics you can play a game with a few objects scattered around a void and some occational special effects :D
You'll see, im not saying eve aint pretty, ooh yes it is, but it is also not as sick as some other games that are perfectly playable, eve is smooth and has very smart-designed art, just look at the glow effect on the planets, no Bloom effect there, just a gradient plane that changes depending on your viewing angle.
.... so when do we get dynamic shadows and bloom?? :D:D

Yes, looks wonderful! A nice surprise to wake up to. Although I don't think anything could make up for having to get up at this hour every day.

Wow....CCP seems to be going all out with Shiva...i don't think ive been this impressed for a very long time...i thought i was going to go to sleep..before i did i thought id check out the forum for updates and now i see this...ya im not going to sleep lol
