CONTRACTS Contracts are made to the character "Degenerate Gambler" "Degenerate Gambler" is in the "ships of eve" Events Corporation Please put your contracts up for aslong as possible and confirm your contract and the contents by replying to this post. It can take up to 3 days for me to accept contracts. TICKETS You will recieve one ticket for every 500,000isk worth of ship(s) in your contract rounded down. Rigs and modules are ignored when assigning a value to the contracts. Tickets are given in order of contract acceptance. Shuttles and rookie ships are considered donations. The value of ships are generated from Jita 4-4 and once a ship has been valued it will not change again for the duration of the event. PRIZES 1st - Receive all Battlecruiser and higher class ships that were contracted 2nd - Recieves all cruiser class ships that were contracted 3rd - Recieves all ship classes smaller than cruisers WTF?? This is something fun to do and you can clean up your hangars at the same time. The last SOE : Spare Stuffs event had 7,217 Ships contracted with a total value of around 18bil. And T'Amber the multiple price classes is a great idea! The third prize will have over 9000 ships... even if I have to ensure that myself.

On the other hand, as a trusted third party, you are expected to be impartial and to carry through with the transaction you're trusted with. I returned 180bil, Lets not make this another F9 thread, SOE 4.5 has nothing to do with me, don't know why I am even mentioned here, it is 100% amber's gig, If you have a problem with me been used for any amber's events take it up with him via mail. As for SOE 5, If you can find the 3rd party who will finance the 50-100bil needed as I am doing for amber, I will be more then happy to let you take that role Iella Wesirri . Maybe 1:10 would be a good cap. Possibly the number of prize classes should also be a factor. This time the odds of me not winning anything were about (1-1/3)^3=8/27=.29 so this was not a suprise. With out the ships poured in by Coil many people would not have particapated and it would not have been near the ammount of ships that were available. I think you need sharks like Coil and others to keep pushing the ticket sales and peaking the interest. As you know the the sharks have not been very lucky in the past any how. Congrats to Coil & Tit Especially Coil for putting so much on the line for such a small pay day. :)

A person with one ticket could win it, like the last one, which BTW, no one was saying to put a limit on sales even though Coil donated about the same amount for. Don't gamble if you are going to be bitter when you lose. That's no fun. To put a limit on ticket sales would be a lotto that loses it's appeal for people willing to take a big chance. However, if someone keeps pumping 5+ billion into these, they will over time end up with more wins, and the people who only buy 1 ticket will start to say 'that rich ****er keeps winning' and lose interest. I'm no expert on running lotteries, but I watch the SoE with interest, and I have thought about pumping 10b worth of ships in, if it stacked the odds in my favour. But then again, I don't gamble.
