I had to spend months reading bob tears about the haargoth I win button. How wrong it was, and how it should be fixed etc - Now, here they are, gloating when the same **** happens to someone else
maybe goonswarm will get their space RELOADED and IT can make their own threadnought [full circle]
You know, what happened to former Bob and what has happened to Goonswarm is not, in any ways, the same... A single person disbanded an alliance with a single click of a button. Goonswarm, however, being the failtards they are, failed to do the simplest of things, that is pay up their bills, well just some of their bills...
Different a s s h o l e but same s h i t , ultimately ofcourse.
considering that the title of this thread is "karma is a *****" i didn't think anyone from IT would be dumb enough to make that argument. I stand corrected. ---------------------------------------------- Please re-size your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

No, that would be the Goonswarm leadership that formulated the plans to destroy our alliance...ummm, how did you put it? Oh yeah, two whole times.
You sir, are just a bee looking for some honey (who is bitter enough to make angry poasts in a thread about you losing). TY for the tears. They are tasty.
And as for Molle's RL, gratz to him for finding someone that shares his interests.

Hey molle, you still haven't killed us. The first time around, our culture won out and caused your old alliance to disband, then we proceeded to kill your giant space dongue, and take all your space while your alliance sat pitifully camped into an NPC station for a month.
In this case we are the victims of our own stupidity.
We keep telling everyone how bad we are at this game, but no one seems to believe us.
Maybe now they will.
And we destroyed your alliance. Twice.
What does that say about you?
I mean this in the nicest way but I think you are probably taking this entire spaceship thing a bit too seriously. I mean, you know, attacking someone's rl is a bit of a sign that you are rather bitter about those space pixels.

It's still the same s h i t m8 .. Karma hit goons with the same ****, you see? - So my argument stands. - I sympathize for the goonies, just a little bit. It really does suck when **** like this happens, it really does. ----

IT, once they start thei old ways and people remember that, while cooler guys than the Goons, they still want to rule the bloody world and have a good shot at it.

Its easy to brag that you beat Goons.
BUT, because of a drop in sov you took advantage of a bug or game flaw. To me this should be a rolled back, your using flaws in game to win a system or 2. I guess you have to cheat to beat goons. And thats how I look at it.
You must really know people in high places to pull this one off. And I cannot believe that CCP is allowing this type of programming. CCP is slowly turning away from being fair.
Come with fleets and beat me. USing game flaws is bull.
NOTE: These are my personel feelings and not the feelings of my corp or alliance. But smile while you can.
I didn't think you guys (you know who I mean) could fall any further then you did. Have fun with your new pals Evildoomer. They treat each other well.
I wont get into the other stuff because everyone knows there is no quater in the war between us and goons.

u mad ?
p.s. plz continue, the tears are delicious! om nom nom
What tears.
I know your life has little meaning outside the confines of spaceship games, but trying to manufacture some kind of satisfaction derived from crying which doesn't really exist is pretty sad.
I still cant get over goons crying about the "honorless" conquest of their space... Or even the reference about taking a internet spaceship game too seriously! The boo frickety hoo from some Goons makes this so worthwhile. Interesting how some are saying it was bound to happen, and then the ones saying poor us! This is news worthy!

WTF is sport? We are all nerds playing very important spaceship games!
Well I'm enough of a nerd to be playing the game too. but I got to say I don't know a single other guy in rl who plays mmorgs ... mostly investment bankers and commercial insurance salesmen etc.
Do you thik ther is a different sort of mindset in general among game players or do you think that EVE has got a special subset of players who relish or can at least be more likely to stomach these sorts of things having a big influence ?
A major sovereign entity defaulting on all its payments should have big consequences, i mean if the U.S defaulted the whole world economy would probably collapse (properly this time) and we would end up back in the stone age. If it turned out that happened because the pres forgot to sign something it would still be pretty damn funny though.

No more will to fight ..... makes you wonder Faced with dwindling participation against an imminent invasion from multiple alliance.... Would this be the best way to save face by making a game mechanic the bogey man instead of being beaten on the field ???
Be interesting to see if the swarm hanger-ons will even bother to handle adversity the same way BoB did

One alliance took another down by utilizing a director that turned traitor, going though with all the accociated effort to maximize this to take down sov.
Another alliance uses a glitch of the latest patch.
Yea....... I was never a proponent of the idea of paying concord for sov in lawless space.
