Thinking of replaceing my rifter for agent missions. I like the thrasher it dosen't seem like a glorified shuttle. got up close to a megathron and a typhoon yesterday and it's a fair size.. do that with a Rifter and it looks like it shoulda been launched from the bs.

My Thrasher feels like a bigger, slower rifter to me. If I were you I would give one a try. I haven't taken it below 0.5 yet, (things were still laggy while I was playing and I don't intend to loose it for at least a couple of days).I was happily ripping up 6 six ship angel hunter / ambusher, and raider spawns in 0.5 though.
Mind you. The seven turrets spend ammo as fast as my girlfriend spends my pay check.

My Thrasher feels like a bigger, slower rifter to me. If I were you I would give one a try. Anyone else been having trouble with cap on the Coercer? I was playing about with one last night, had huge troubles just trying to keep the guns running, I had to fill 3 of my low slots with cap relays just to manage the guns (dual light beams). And lets not talk about what happens if you switch an armour repairer on. :s
From what I can see, although they have nice cap, they have abismal recharge.

I decided to stop fighting what the ship is meant to do naturally, and focus on it's strengths. Gallente wise, it's not too fast, has a ton of gun turrents, not very many low or high slots. But it still has a very balanced amount of shield and armor, a large amount of capacitor and recharge but little powergrid.
Anyways, without giving away my loadout, I can take my gallente destroyer into .3 belts and take on absolutley everything there without breaking a sweat nor having to activate my armor repair. From the dual cruiser with 4 escourt spawns to the massive 5-6 frig spawns in .3. Peice of cake, and I plan on moving to .2 in it after DT :)

i have the Amarr Destroyer.....
H = 8x Dual light beam lazer I's w/ microwaves (14KM range)
M = 1x 1n MWD
L = 1x Small armor rep II 3x Cap realy I's
works great destroying NPC Cruisers(50k tested) & Frigates ------------------------------------------------ A Plague is comming.... |

Ive not tried one in Eve yet, but i did fly one on the Sisi server (2 patches back) and yeah, i eneded up only using 6 dual lights and a nos and a s/b to keep the power loss managable.
They should have kept it as it was, 6 turrets and no rof nerf.

6 x 150mm, 1 x 125, 1 named std ML
1 named 1mn Afterburner, 1 thermal hardener. fit the remaining 2 with what u like for pvp
1 micro aux reactor
no cap issue, +300m/s and pure terror for 55k rats. As for ammo, use what u prefer.
A mwd is probably causing your cap issues if you are running it continuously.
