I don't think any can. You need a capital ship with Ship Maintenance Bay capacity (for example, a carrier).

Any of them, as long as they are in a courier contract package. Other than that, none. --Vel

Edited by: Tau Cabalander on 27/01/2010 01:46:20 I don't think so, but you can have 3 characters on an account...
* Contract stuff to alt (private trade) costs 10k. * Have alt make a courier contract (dunno if these can be private). * Accept courier contract with main and haul stuff. * Complete courier contract. * Alt contracts stuff back to main (private trade).

I can confirm you cannot issue couriers to yourself. Well you can but it will not let you accept it. Thus you are stuck using the alt method, freighter service, or corp mate with freighter. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. All freighters are large enough to haul subcaptial ships, even BS.
You just need to put them in a really, really, really big cardboard box first and write "To: <destination station>" on the side in equally gigantic Sharpie.

I still haven't saved enough to buy my Orca, but doesn't it have a 40k m^3 corp hangar? In particular, you put your shinies in there so the mean pirates can't scan or loot them. |

If the 'cardboard box' is a courier contract shrink wrap, then it works just fine. The max size for a courier contract was recently increased so that a BS would fit and go into a freighter.

Can only fit packaged ships in cargo/ corporate hangars. You do however have a modest ship maintenance bay (400.000M3) on the Orca.

the Orca's maint bay is 400k m3 and so you can get a fully fitted Hulk, or something like a fully fitted Myrm, in the bay.
Without actually having checked in the game I seem to recall that both Hulk and Myrm are about 200k m3 in volume so you might be able to carry one of each - although I've never had to try that

Yeah, the Orca may be what you want for that. It has the agility of a brick though. Fit it for defense and be careful with Freightorgeddon coming up.

Yes, the Orca can carry two fitted Exhumers or a combination of ships adding up to 400K which excludes BS since they are bigger. I use the Obelisk to haul my rigged and fitted ships around by creating the contract and then trading myself the box. It's a bit of a pain but for high-sec nothing will reach that 900K capacity of a freighter.
Now a Carrier can handle that for you in low-sec and null-sec if you know someone with one.

The hulk is 200k m3 - so you can get two in. Battlecruisers (at least all the ones I've tried) are about 230k m3, so you can only get one in. A blockade runner (viator) is 190k m3.
Battleships are >400k m3, so you're out of luck with those (incidentally, you can only get 2 BS into a carrier with it's 1,000,000 m3 ship maint bay)
Cruisers - are up to about 120k m3 and you can get about 3 in.
Frigates are much easier and you can fit a good number in - I can't remember exactly, but I think about 12 to 15 depending on the type.
Of course, if you can repackage some of your ships, you can put those into the corp hangar and cargo bay, saving the ship array for rigged and/or insured ships.
Shrink wrapping is still an option for smaller rigged/insured ships to go into the Orca corp hangar/cargo bay, but you're limited to frigates and destroyers for that.
