I want ccp to explain to me what my mission agents object text said this.
"[05:13:32] Aubrei Azil: "Holy ****, they're back!
[05:14:40] Aubrei Azil: It's like those bastards were leaving me to die out here.
I've been warned by GM's that swearing is not allowed to swear in this game even though I'm given the opportunity to read it? I find that offense, disgusting and appalling that both of these occurrences can take place side by side and would like an explanation.

Because there is a difference between 'holy **** I just died!' and 'holy **** you are the stupidest mother****er I have ever seen' in local chat.

That line is crossed when I found it offensive. CCP cannot punish for what they are guilty of forcing on you. Since I find it offensive to read they are breaking there own language policy.

Wait, they actually enforce that? Damn it, I could have gotten a LOT of people sternly talked to by a GM over the last few years if I had reported them.

Yes they can actually, and you can be as offensive as you want to be, just not in public channels, or against people that might take offense and report you. And GMs won't warn you for calling Guristas pirates bastards, or saying Holy ****... You're all bastards or Holy **** Epic Fail... that's a different story though. Context

If it offense you, do what you should do. Quit the game.
They can do alot with their game that is not allowed for you. Like shutting down the server. If they do it, its maintaince. If you do it, its hacking.

Agreed, if anything is allowed in private convos and channels, then you shouldn't be gagged in them for saying "offensive" things in public channels.
That "offensive" policy is rubbish anyway. You have censored words and a few -isms to censor, and that's it. "Offensive".. fail policy is fail.
