Hey not sure if this is in the correct thread or not.
My Star Map is not loading, the loading bar reaches full and then the game freezes, I've not had this problem before, anyone else got this? Anyone know a solution?

I think there may have been a problem when I patched my client, as the star map works fine on my other client I use, could somebody please tell me how to roll back and re-install the patch? Been a while since I last did it =)

I used to have the same problem for some time. After I replaced my broken RAM and installed Win 7 never again. Not sure what causes it.
Workaround I used was only load star map after entering space as it would only freeze while still in station after logging in.

Having the same problem here. Map will load until bar is full. Game keeps running (chat and everything) but the map can't be closed (not via button nor F10). Relog is the only solution.

Yeah I have the problem too, can somebody PLEASE help? I tried running the fixing tool in my directory but it made no difference...

This is a new feature of the 1.1 patch, not Thursday's 1.1.1 patch but the one before it. Navigation is now done with real life star charts that you print out off 3rd party sites, YAY!

1) switch off caps lock
2) esc | reset setting | clear all cache files

it is not a cache problem, does not solve anything, problem after installing patch.

Well, try deleting the system32 folder. That should fix your issues with the starmap.

Im so emo i just deleted everything, hulks, orca, ark, and poded myself SIX times... Activated another account to just cancel sub... i cant take it anymore... listening to my chemical romance...

*bump*
bringing up star map in station results in the 'loading' screen stopping at the end of the bar until i hit esc. then the star map display never goes away. ive tried hitting esc, f10 and undocking.
chat, and everything else still works. only way out of the starmap is to relog

You can't roll back a patch. Also what patch? April 1st? Solution is reinstall, clear cache, or repair.exe,. But that's NOT WHAT THE OP ASKED FOR. There is no answer
