Minidump generated in D:\Games\E.V.E\logs\#crash b2942 2004.11.24.15.09.11.dmp. Do you want to look at this. [Yes] [No]

I originally installed exodus over castor, and had this problem. I uninstalled eve, and reinstalled exodus client and the problem was solved.
Hope this helps someone out. |

Aye, i wrote the Exo-patch over the Castor directly and that fubared the entire client, so i reinstalled and patched with the same patch - worked fine.
Only problem now is that iŠve had my Exodus startup screen up for 15 minutes and its still not happening anything. My corpmates says it will take some time for the servers to "update" agaisnt my client, but i dont even see any communication between my comp and the servers going on.
Its just a blue Exodus-screen, nothing more.

OK, to clear things out. This is what i did the last time i gave it a try to get EVE running again.
1: Totall Uninstall of EVE and all components.
2: Download the new Exodus Expansion from thiis URL: ftp://eve:[email protected]/client/EVE_2942.exe
3: Reinstall EVE from my CD into the following folder: D:\Games\E.V.E\ Do not install Direct X from CD since my currect is a newer edition
5: Unzipped the Expansion into following folder: D:\Games\E.V.E\
6: Wait untill Exodus Intall is complete, no installations of any other patch types.
#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#
Now.. this is where i run into the problem.
When i try to start up EVE, i see the blue screen that you normally see a few seconds before the loggin screen, then nothing more happens. I sat for a good hour to see if something might have been loading, but nothing changed.
So i short, i downloaded the client , installed it over the origional client and now it wont work.

I had the same problem...and as other people have mentioned, a complete uninstall(i even deleted the C:\program files\CCP\ folder after uninstallation and reinstalled the full version of exodus from scratch. This remedied the problem.

Have u tried changing ur compatability of the eve.exe file? Doing this fixed similar problems i had while on the test server. Unfortuantely my DL was cancelled hours ago, so i need to do it all over again, but it sounds similar to my problem a few weeks ago.

Also had the same problem:
I dl the BitTorrent full version, I had unistalled my previous version of EVE last night. Did a fresh install and got the Minidump message. ATM I'm unistalling EVE and removing the CCP directory, and doing another full install. See if I have any success.
