I`m 100% sure that this is a great game and i would rather just keep playing but given that i have all my software updated and eve exodus seems to keep crashing my Radeon 9600 card wich im pretty sure is the main isue once again...
TBH the answer im looking for is how many is playing at this minut if very few i can accept the facts that i cant log in.
but from the forums it do look to me like most of ppl is actualy logged in and playing and if this is the case im way to close to unsubscribing.
i know this i a whine post but none the less i had to speak up and be assured my main will quit if this keeps up
best regards a unsatisfied but still paying subscriber

Edited by: flakes on 24/11/2004 20:06:13 Trust me u r not the only one who isnt playing.Been online today for a few hours most crash after 15 mins , half an hour and the lucky ones last an hour. The game is full of bugs and problems , the lag is enormous....to be honest after playing 7 mmorpg's for the last 5 years and having seen MANY patches i can absolutely say that this is one of my worst patching experiences.Even SWG couldn't top this one :)
So what i am trying to say is...don't feel bad u can't log in ....look at it this way...i got my raven blown up by some 14k rat because of a 2min non-stop lag....lost a few million by buying stuff off of the market that just wasn't available in any station all of a sudden....relogging took me 20 minutes....So ur not missing out on anything at the moment.
Best advice is stick through it and try in a few other days....because the sad part of it all is that even when this is the worst patch i've ever seen , it is also probably the best expansion i've ever seen for a game once it works smoothley , so give it a few days rest and see how it goes next week.

Most of the crashes and lag got better and better. It was all due to ppl waiting till release day to download the patch.
It's sooo much better today (apart from a market bug) and game crashes seem non existent.
And I have a 9600 Pro too.

Simple explanations is the lag a + that everyone knows how patchdays are. This is an expansion we are talking about not a simple patch.
And tho it may be something i heard but why use the game server to host the expansion patch????

I completely agree. The problem is that CCP allowed everyone to download the patch at the same time. I think that the best method would have been to allow people to download the patch via the game server when it was there yesterday (day when servers went down) and then before they went up again, set it up so that you could only download the patch/expansion from websites...and not lag the gameserver so everyone else suffers. A lack of planning on their part me thinks. But hey, its a great expansion. I am just like everyone else and waiting for it to stabalize.
(So stop reading this post CCP and get on with the bug fixes )

I've got a 9200 and it works fine.
I'd have preferred to use Fileplanet I think... at least then it'd be their problem and not CCP's.
I tried downloading and had huge problems with timeouts before... I had to use the in-game autopatcher.
