I installed it several times, sometimes patched sometimes the hole thing, everytime in a different folder but there's still the following problem:
I click on the EVE button and the game seems to start, the exodus picture is shown, like it was in EVE. But then just nothing happens. The game freezes. After several hours of waiting it shows the message that it had to been closed(with no reason). I didn't even get to the log-in screen.
EVE worked without any problems and it still does, but Exodus doesn't.
What have i done wrong?

You did nothing wrong. The bug lies at ccp.
Same problem here
Log serve reports a OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY error.
I have a 256MB X800XT.
I can run eve in 98 compatibility mode but it is slow and instable as hell.

Im having similar problem, I can log into my account on eve, I get to teh character screen and select my main character, it goes to load that character and just sits on the entering space screen and then crashes
I dont even get any messages :0(
