Just verifying a hunch...when I scan for these plex's they are catigorized as "cosmic anomalies" while WH's are "cosmic signatures". Is that right? Or are plex's the same as holes? I lucked out and found a 6/10 the other day, but have no idea what settings I used...I think I just did SHOW ALL :S HELP!!!!

EDIT - evewiki search ftw... its a sig. I guess the next question to ask is "finding a DED plex is just a matter of luck I presume?

Yep, it's a sig, you can't tell them appart from WHs 'till you can see the name (they're also Unknown). It just takes time and patience (and a ship that can handle them, I found the hard way I can't solo a 5/10 in my Drake).

Well I managed to solo a 6/10. I probe for several hours in a day and usually only find mag/radar sites, and close to 3 holes in a system. I used to get excited when I saw all the dif sig pop up, but now I just expect them to be lame old holes :/ Time to go waste another day making no isk. Thanks for the info...

In my defense, I've been almost entirely working on industrial skills for most of my char's life (I have over 1.8M SP in Industry, but not even 55k in Missiles). I held my own for not having any serious combat skills.
If you have serious suggestions as to how I can do better, please let me know, I am completely willing to learn and would love some advice from someone more experienced (that's why I watch the forums as much as I can).
However, if you simply want to offer vague implications that there might be a better way to do it, there's no reason to say anything at all, I know that I don't have the optimal skills/setup for such things; the beauty of Eve is that I can still try it if I want to.

With your skills there isnt much you can do but I suggest spend a week or two getting a nice solid t2 fit drake (minus t2 guns)

I've got T2 Hardners/SPR/LSEs on there and had 3x Purgers on there, but I don't have T2 BCS or Launchers. So I ended up with 892 DPS tank and 78k EHP, but only doing 141 DPS to the rats (I got up to 515 DPS tank and 171 DPS damage when I swapped out for 2x BCS when I had some breathing room in the first two rooms, when I was trying to crack the 3.5M bounty BS). I really needed a friend for that, but no one was on that night.

Derailing the post a bit . I know that there are maximum level of plexes for the different security ratings (i.e. 1-4 in High, 4-6 in low etc...) but was wondering if in nullsec there are also plexes below 6/10, like 4-5/10?

Lowest i've come across was 6/10 in sansha 0.0 .. and 7/10 in Angel 0.0 ..
