Several of my corp mates and I are also having this problem.

This happened to someone in my corp last night, and the workaround would be to look around 100km from the bookmark, he found the baddies there.

I recieved my first deadspace mission from my lvl III agent. Hmm ok I thought, it's level III, still solable in my Apoc. (no warnings here like pre-Exodus) Just go in an kill a few ships right?
Wrong. I was sent to some sort of Pirate outpost complete with turrents. My Apoc warped in, was scrambled by just about every ship there (making my stabalizers worthless) and was then toasty momments later as the turrents chewed through me. One Apoc lost.
Well I've sent in my petition. I don't know whos smart idea it was to have missions that are most certainly something that belong in a level IV agents book (and should have a clear statement to get some friends along!) and not lvl III.
Deadspace is neat and all, but it really shouldn't be added to agents who usually give solo-missions and ones that are way less of a pain. Stick these in level IV's or change the desciptions big time and let others know they are NOT to be done like a usual lvl III agent mission.
Now if only I could get a refund on my ship for this big foul up in mission placements. (I don't want to see deadspace nerfed, just correctly used) NPC Turrents in a lvl III mission is insane! (same with being constantly warp scrambled by 10+ ships at the same time)

Sounds to me like the mission location you went too was actually in a complex, so you ended up having both the agent npc's , and the complex npc's at once. What security system were you in? and did the rats in the mission description match up to those you encountered in deadspace? if so, it should have told you that the sentries would be there.

First mission what my lvl 3 agent gave me after Shiva go live was broken. Come 5 time to boomark, but nothing here. Scan 1000km nothing here. fly back to station, fly back to mission waypoint, still nothing here. So Mission Fail for me.
Next one was fine Deadspace with small complex. 1,5 Hours time. Pure fun but very very very dangerous. Next one tough complex with sentry guns and other small surprisec. First warp was ok. But then muss retreat. After jump at 60km Again, i found myself near Complex inside 30km from 3x90k Sanshas spy away. With no mwd posibility and other nice sansash escorts i lost My Rupture.
So mission are fun, and its realy chalenge. But sometime Jump to it is broken and i found mission is toooo hard if target npc are inside NPCcomplex with other complex guard.

I'm having the "dead deadspace" problem. I just warp to the deadspace bookmark, and I find... just deadspace. absolutely no ships, complexes, installations, or other entities. I hate to let the State down by not accomplishing the missions it's agents give to me. I hope this gets solved soon :/

Something I noticed last night when doing an agent mission, was that the bm provided by the agent, appeared in the context menu of everysystem i was in, not just the final destination.

Yeah, I've run into this same issue. Tried warping to stations, docking, and warping back, to some places in space, and even out a few systems and then back. Also tried from both the in-space right click menu and the mission description, both warp me to the same place, filled with...nothing. An earlier deadspace mission, in the same system and from the same agent, worked just fine, so it's gotta be a random bug with the whole deadspace code, not a particular agent or system. It's frustrating, though, to lose roughly a mission's worth of standings, both personal and corporate, because of a strange bug. Any chance that lost status from rejected/failed deadspace agent missions since the patch could be refunded?

I have had the same problem... on 3 straight missions from different agents. A refund or standings correction would be nice. When the deadspace missions work the are a challenge. --------------------------------------------------- "If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you didn't plan very well beforehand."

In responce to a comment that the bug is random, it will not be. code never executes randomly, believe me. I would say that the most useful thing people can do is post all the information that they have here on the forum or in game via a pedition. I would also recomend postin g your standing, the agent name and station, mission name, and type, as well as the time you accepted the mission. That info should really help ppl trace this bug, all the info you can provide will help, and may cut hours off of the debugging time. Hell send me the source and i'll take a look for you. :D.
